I've been there with my two daughters. Brian and Annie are very kind and helped us in booking tours, finding places where to eat, etc.. The room was clean and quite silent, though it was on the road side of the house. The sea is 10 minutes far by foot, while the city center is easily reachable by bus (bus... more

We stayed here with our 20 month old son, the room was small but we had been warned in advance about this, it was very very clean , our bathroom was spotless and one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Our room was very comfortable. The full scottish breakfast was delicious and again one of the best you... more

The Aynetree Guest House was a haven of tranquility after our long journey by car from Berkshire. From the first phone call to book a room, Brian and Anne were welcoming, helpful and friendly, their home a delight. Travel into the centre of Edinburgh couldn't be easier with a bus stop right outside BUT this is a PLUS and you... more

We stayed at Aynetree Guest House with 3 persons for 3 nights during april 2009 and we really enjoyed our stay there. Brian and Anne's hospitality makes you feel welcome, rooms are comfortable and tidy and the scottish breakfast was a perfect start into the days. Also booking by internet worked perfectly. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it so very much! Brian and Anne were so very kind and accommodating! My friend has a gluten allergy, and our hosts were good about caring for him in that regard. Also, we had some unexpected travel changes which altered our schedule enough that we arrived very late, and again, Brian and Anne... more
