Stayed with my husband in a superior mini suite for 3 nights. The room was lovely, large, modernly decorated with wooden floors and comfy slippers (which you can take home with you!). The hotel bar is brilliant (plenty of cocktails!) and the club downstairs (entrance free to residents) was also fun. Room service doesn't add a tray charge and you... more

My wife and I recently stayed at Tigerlily in Edinburgh for our 10th anniversary. We expected a special stay and we weren't disappointed. The location is a perfect base for visiting Edinburgh (there's even a taxi rank right outside), that is if you can prise yourself away from the lively attractive bar where we enjoyed the best Mojitos since our... more

Tigerlily hotel is a real gem. The rooms are huge and attention to detail is superb. from GHD irons in room, to umbrella, candles, ipod dock, PSP's and the list goes on. The beds are very comfy and large bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. nothing is too much for them. The hotel is well located and the resturant, bar... more

I reserve 5 out of 5 ratings for hotels that exceed expectations in some way - my expectations of Tigerlily, based in its website and the reviews here, were high and it absolutely met them. So, I'll try not to repeat much that has already been said. Our request for a quiet room on a high floor at the back... more

Our stay at Tigerlily was the 8th stop on a round Scotland jaunt and we found it the best in many ways. Firstly the staff were only too pleased to help you in any way they could. Our room only lacked the bath my wife had missed in the previous three hotels, but the wet room shower made up for... more

My husband and I stayed at Tigerlilly in order to attend a wedding. This weekend was exceptionally busy and most hotels were booked out over a month in advance. The hotel photos did play a big part in my choosing to stay there and it did live up to expectations. The staff were friendly and highly efficient and did go... more

Beware the temptation to believe the receptionist when they reassure you that it is OK to off load luggage outside the front door. I was away from my car for less than 5 minutes and incurred a £60 fine. Similarly when you come to get a discount on the parking charge at Castle Terrace from the hotel and they tell... more

Stylish, modern, trendy, quirky, great location, amazing rooms, huge bed, massive plasma TV, loaded iPods, great breakfast, hip bar, amazing cocktails, excellent staff, good value for money - better to call to get a deal rather than online. Got a mini-suite and dinner, bed & breakfast rate for £180. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, don't listen to the... more
