Lovely place in a super convenient location. My 8 year old son and I had no problem walking to the Castle and finding places to eat nearby. My favorite part by far was the yummy breakfast. Lauriston Park B&B was on a quiet street between the Meadows (through the alleyway by the church) and Lauriston. The rooms were clean and the cold breakfasts were excellent, including fruit, fresh baked breads, cereals, cheeses, tea, coffee, and yogurt. The family that runs the business were very friendly and cooperative. Within walking distance of the Royal Mile.
