I recently spent three nights at this bed and breakfast with my sister, in order to visit the Fringe festival in Edinburgh. I can sincerely say that the experience was amazing. The owners were amazingly helpful, even before we arrived - they were more than happy to give very detailed directions and information on bus routes. The room was beautifully... More

So lovely to be back again. The house is beautiful and the friendly welcome makes it feel like staying with friends rather than an impersonal lodging place. The breakfasts are brilliant with everything just perfectly cooked and lovely and hot. We loved the fresh fruit salad too. Our lovely room and the whole house is beautifully kept and the ceilings... My son and I stayed for 2 nights for the Edinburgh Festival. We also got to see the Rugby match at Murrayfields which is close by. Pam and Keith are really friendly and helpful and overall we had a very pleasant stay. The walk into town along the canal is lovely and the bus and taxi services are frequent and... More

Excellent B+B. Perfect location, city just a short bus ride away. Large very clean well equipped rooms, good Scottish breakfast cooked to order. Restaurants within easy walking distance and a comfortable modern bar just around the corner. Keith's local knowledge also a great help. Terry, Sue, Chris and Jane (Bedford)

The Lindsay Guest House is a lovely place to stay in Edinburgh. Keith and Pamela are knowledgeable, warm hosts, and work at ensuring their guests have a memorable stay. Their breakfasts are cooked to order and delicious. Our room was good sized, very clean, with extras like washcloth and shower soap, and even space to place toiletries. The location was... More

My daughter is named Lindsay, so when I saw the Lindsay Guest House on line when booking our trip hotels, I couldn't wait to surprise her with this B&B! Was such fun ordering "The Lindsay" for breakfast and enjoying the wonderful hospitality of Keith and Pamela Jeffs. This is a beautiful establishment with tartan plaid steps leading up to the... I have been staying at the Lindsay Guest House for about 5 years and I look forward to each visit. For me, it's all about comfort, cleanliness, good food and being made to feel welcome. Staying with Keith & Pam is like visiting friends and i couldn't recommend this establishment highly enough.
