We had another perfect weekend staying at the Straven Guest House. Mac and Marian are wonderful hosts. Rooms are lovely and very clean. Room 5 has a large powerful shower which was great after a long run. Why is the Edinburgh marathon weekend always the hottest of the year!!

We stayed here for 2 nights last week and it was a pleasure. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the Firth. The breakfast was great and Mac was a great host. Close to the beach and the esplanade. We took the bus into Edinburgh and the bus stop was close, about a block away.
