Decent location, nice room although decor could do with being freshened up. Nice bar below with a good selection of cocktails. We would stay here again but would shop around for a different hotel.

First and formost the location of The Hudson is perfect. Very close to Prince's street and Castle. When we first arrived staff were very friendly, set us up in our room immediately, we arrived at noon and check in was 4 pm. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern with coffee, tea, comp water and bathrobes!! Later when we went back to...

Spent one night in the Hudson during the week, excellent room, well furnished and modern. Would be 5* had it not been for the 'white stains' on the bed cushion which was off putting and was immediately thrown to the other side of the room. Should not have bed linen or items that cannot be washed after every visitor.

I stayed here one night on business and was informed on arrival that I had been upgraded to a suite! The reality was that I was in a room suitable for disabled visitors with everything very low down and I had a balcony which was littered with cigarette butts and very grimy. The staff were pleasant enough and the room...

I stayed one night with my daughter as part of a trip to the ballet.Although there were all the little extras like dressing gown ,mini ,bar safe etc.the room was rather tired and in need of decorating. The bathroom although clean had miidew round the edges. There was no restauran to speak of for breakfast and the only bar and place to...

I would suggest that when they first decorated this place over 5 years ago it was very nice, but the whole place needs a complete overhaul. I stayed here and was disappointed from the word go, from items being broken in the room to the noise experienced from the bar down below, keeping you awake into the wee small hours....

Excellent location and excellent helpfull staff.Quality Breakfast and bar food.Room 101 however is at the front above the main road. The right hand side sound proofing on the windows could not close properly so a little noisy.Bed nearest the door had a sinkhole in the middle at buttock level so a little uncomfy. The bath had a mushroom farm in the...

I only stayed one night on a business trip but it was enough to decide that if I am in the area in future I will stay here again. All the staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming. Always a good thing especially if you are on your own.
The room was modern and clean, the bed very comfortable even for...

I stayed here for 2 nights for £100 room only which seemed like a good price compared to others and I think it was very good value, hotel is in an excellent location close to Princes Street and George Street.
The room was clean with wooden floors and was a reasonable size there was also a balcony. Mini bar was...

Superb location at west end of Princes Street - but noisy room, with very small floor area and extravagant room height. Obvious it is a converted, disused post office. Really nice staff but the slowest lift I have ever used!
