We stayed here 4 nights while visiting family and the sights. Very comfortable, an excellent breakfast and helpful friendly staff, especially the lovely Spanish lady. Location is obviously a bit out of town, but directly on a bus route with frequent services. Really good value for money. Any issues? The wifi was decidedly lethargic and the stairs quite steep which... More

We were pleased with ourselves with this on price as we booked through Late Rooms. On arrival staff were very pleasant, who I assume was the owner checked us in and changed our room to the "family room" as he said it was nicer. He informed us of the buses to take us into town and the prices of singles... More

Stayed here mid November for my 30th birthday with two other friends. While I didn't complain as the staff were nothing but polite, I did have a few gripes. We were in the room directly located under the breakfast room which made mornings very noisy, walls are very thin so conversations could be heard in full from other passing guests... More

I stayed at the Edinburgh Regency Guest House for one night whilst in Edinburgh for business. It took around 20 minutes to get to the hotel in a taxi from the airport. The chap at reception was friendly and gave me a quick tour of the room. The room itself is modern, cosy and comfortable. The room has the usual... More

My first time to Edinburgh and stayed with 2 other friends in a triple suite room. We were driving a few hours per day and stopping only to sleep/shower. After 2 nights in London, 1 night in Cambridge, we decided to stop here for 2 nights. We were used to cheap "hotel hopping", but as soon as we entered at... More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October 2014. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the family room we stayed in was very clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was a choice of continental or full cooked Scottish (or both if you were very hungry!) which were plentiful and very nice. A bit of a distance from... More

We booked online all the hotels and venues, for the most part we were satisfied. Upon arrival in Scotland we were expected a 4 * hotel, we ended up having a bed and breakfast, this being expedia's fault by not elaborating. The service and such was great the disturbing thing was having your sheets and towels sitting on the common... More

As soon as I arrived at the house I was made to feel very welcome the atmosphere created is one of being part of a family, nothing is too much trouble and is always greeted with a smile. The room I stayed in was modern and clean with a very nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and a... More

We stay for two nights, the owners were very helpful and extremely friendly. Breakfast was at a sensible time 8 - 9.30 which suits a decent lie in. The quality and range of food was great and something to suit everyone. The room, although not the biggest in the world, was more importantly clean, tidy, well equipped and modern. There... More
