Having heard lots of good reports about Orocco Pier, we booked for dinner on Saturday night. The noise was indescribly loud from the women at a table next to us. We asked the waiting staff to ask them to tone it down a bit but this did no good at all. The food was mediocre and well over-priced for what... more

Thank goodness I wasn't staying there !!! the lunch menu is not great but I chose (i thought) wisely. The rump steak was fatty and the chips (apparently hand cut) were rock hard and would have wounded the sullen waitress if I had thrown them in her direction. the chips had obviously been reheated, and were fit to break teeth.... more

My partner and I attended a wedding at Orocco Pier just recently, and needed to book into the hotel for the night. Although the staff were very attentive and nice, the facilities were very dissapointing. First of all we got to our room where we discovered that we were booked into the smallest room in the hotel. We found out... more

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Orocco Pier. The food, accommodation and service were all outstanding. The view from our room was simply stunning. Very attentive manager in particular who ensured we had enjoyed our stay before we left after we had finished breakfast. I would have no hesitation in recommending Orocco Pier to anyone. I have also been for... more

Orocco Pier is a small hotel with only 12 rooms, nonethess, it serves as a great base for the area on business or pleasure. Having spent 125 nights in hotels over the past year, there are some refreshing touches about Orocco Pier. The staff showed me to my room personally, then remembered my name. The room itself was comfortable (though... more

Overlooking the Firth of Forth and with wonderful views from the deck to both bridges this is a tremendous find. The room was worth the climb to the first floor as we had a panoramic view through the dormer window to the bridges. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The 'boutique' design made for... more

All the staff we had contact with over our stay could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and well kitted out. The view from the room over the bridges was simply stunning. We followed this up with a breakfast on the veranda, where the choice and quality of the food was excellent. more
