We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Orocco Pier. The food, accommodation and service were all outstanding. The view from our room was simply stunning. Very attentive manager in particular who ensured we had enjoyed our stay before we left after we had finished breakfast. I would have no hesitation in recommending Orocco Pier to anyone. I have also been for... more

Orocco Pier is a small hotel with only 12 rooms, nonethess, it serves as a great base for the area on business or pleasure. Having spent 125 nights in hotels over the past year, there are some refreshing touches about Orocco Pier. The staff showed me to my room personally, then remembered my name. The room itself was comfortable (though... more

Overlooking the Firth of Forth and with wonderful views from the deck to both bridges this is a tremendous find. The room was worth the climb to the first floor as we had a panoramic view through the dormer window to the bridges. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The 'boutique' design made for... more

All the staff we had contact with over our stay could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and well kitted out. The view from the room over the bridges was simply stunning. We followed this up with a breakfast on the veranda, where the choice and quality of the food was excellent. more

Absolutely dreadful experience - I was there as a wedding guest and went with high expectations because of reviews and having had a few enjoyable breakfasts there with friends. In general 'fur coat and nae knickers' sums it up, on the surface it looks good - very clean and bright etc but dig below the surface in the rooms and... more

We were guests at a wedding and our room was paid for by my mother in law. I wouldnt ever reccomend this hotel. the honneymoon suite was quite nice but our room was a box, when I sat at the dressing table to do my hair, my chair blocked the doorway to the en suite. It was tiny! The kettle... more

Unfortunately we stayed at the Orocco Pier over a rainy few days and the Rail Bridge was covered in scaffolding and tarpaulin. Parking was difficult. The hotel has no car park so you have to try your luck with the public car park nearby which was often full or the Co-op car park up on the hill. The room seemed... more

Booked a one night getaway as a Xmas present for my other half. Was told on the phone it would be room 11 but was room 12, (same great view) also asked to book a table for dinner at the window but was given a booth further into the restraunt but still with the great view of the Firth road... more
