Stayed at the clan walker on the 11th of April. The owners were welcoming and attentive making sure we were happy in our room. Would recommend room 2 which has a four poster bed, would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, not far from the centre of town, close to Arthurs Seat. Accommodation was great, very clean and hospitality and service were first rate - would highly recommend to all! The owners were very friendly and could not do enough for us. Allan M

I decided to take my girlfriend on a weekend break to Edinburgh and we choose this place. It is lovely! The rooms are fantastic! Spacious with a comfy four poster bed giving it real charm and everything you could need. Sky TV was included as standard. Parking was not an issue either as we managed to park directly outside. It... More

First impressions of Clan Walker hotel was a little disappointing, dead and unkempt plants around the front door, an unattractive and scruffy looking porch and chipped paint along the hall, stairs and landing. The room, which was the luxury suite was freezing cold on arrival - this was forgivable as we arrived much earlier than we were supposed to (2... More

'We had such a nice experience at Clan Walker. The place was charming, and our room was clean and comfortable with high ceilings and a view of an apple tree loaded with apples. Lorna made us very welcome and was most helpful to us when our luggage did not arrive. Breakfast was made to order and lovely. The Salisbury Arms... More

Another holiday in Scotland has come to an end and for the third time in as many years, Clan Walker Guesthouse served as the perfect temporary headquarters for us in Edinburgh. The short distance to several bus stops and the short ride into the city make CWG an excellent location while at the same time avoiding the hefty prices usually... More

Charming place and very clean. Hosts were most helpful. They were able to get me in my room early from arrival from an early flight, made cab calls and help me find a local place for Scottish entertainment. The rooms have clan names, so a nice Scottish flare!

Lovely, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Tastefully colourful bedding, not the usual boring white! Really big flat screen TV, very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast very generous and tasty, just what you need to get you ready for your day ahead. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed here in the triple room in August. good location close to Holyrood park , good breakfast and comfortable clean accommodation. I stayed here during the fringe and it was expensive so I cannot comment on price and perhaps expected more for what I paid. the room was cold in summer which is strange but didn't really bother me...
