While very well located, this B&B suffers from inattention. Breakfast was processed, not home cooked, jam and sugar jars were empty, and food was served cold. Furniture in the rooms is all a bit worse for wear, and beds are terribly uncomfortable. Given that it is a bed and breakfast, it seemed to me they should be able to get... More

We stayed for 5 nights in a room to the front of the B&B with a stunning view of Arthur's Seat. The compromise was that our room was next to the road which meant it was noisy for those light sleepers or those wanting to watch tv. But the room is beautifully decorated and feels cosy, with a decent sized... More

Stayed here for two nights, lovely B and B great value for money. Around about a 25 minute walk from the city centre or short 10 minute bus ride which came in handy on a rainy day. Friendly owners who allowed us to check in earlier which was great. Delicious breakfast with one of the widest range of options I'd... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. A wonderful bed and breakfast in Edinburgh, everything you need, a quiet room facing the garden, a parking space, a large bathroom with toiletries you need, very good wifi, large flatscreen TV perfect for watching the German-Brazil semi final, a friendly hostess and nice breakfast. It´s about 20 mins walk to the... More

We stayed at this B & B for 3 nights. Everything was fine. The house, room and breakfast was excellent. Nice hosts, nice place, easy walk to town. Bus stop outside if needed. Many thanks to our hosts.

I stayed with my boyfriend and his parents in the last weekend of June for 2 nights and absolutely loved the clan walker! We had a great sized room with a view to Arthur's seat, beautiful ensure, TV and iPod dock which I thought was very modern for the maintained medieval town. His parents room was even bigger fitting a... More

Good place to stay while we visited Edinburgh. It is right across from Arthur's seat and a decent walk up the Royal Mile. There is also a bus stop across the street that you can catch into the city as well. Easy to find, clean, and comfortable. They also knew it was our honeymoon and left us with a bottle... More

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Clan Walker. We loved our experience. The room was great and the service was even better. One of the mornings we had a very early day trip and were going to have to miss breakfast, but the staff packed us "on the go" breakfasts. Our stay here made our vacations a lot more... More

This place is run by a younger couple, even though it is an older house and it really shows. Whilst you still have all the charm of an older place, it doesn't feel old. All the furniture feels good and does not in the least feel dated. I do like it that they take your order for breakfast the day/evening... More

The best breakfast to date on our travels. Fresh and tasty, bacon and eggs including a sample of haggis! and the Scottish salmon muffin - mmm delightful. Accommodation fantastic - large room for the three of us with big windows! We were in Macgregor room. A very nice surprise after London accommodation..Hosts were welcoming and helpful, booking taxis, packed breakfast... More
