We stayed here on an overnight visit to Edinburgh and so glad we did. The hotel and very helpful host are outstanding! We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we rang the doorbell, to leaving. Our room was beautiful, we stayed in the Kingsburgh room with a lovely "everything" very comfortable with complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits, sherry... More

We booked into the master room at Kingsburgh House for our first wedding anniversary and it was nothing short of perfect. We were greeted on arrival with a complimentary drink and shown to our room which was incredible. We have never had the privilege before of staying in a room like this and the old fashioned four poster bed and... More

People there were really awesome, breakfast was also super high quality with lots of variety and huge portions. Lovely fruit, coffee and yogurt, etc. Location is a little away from everything but within £10 of downtown. Nice though short place to run/walk 2 minutes away. I recommend. Downside: internet unreliable. Need to really fix this.

This is a bit of a delayed review but myself and my now husband stayed here in the run up to Christmas last year, and from the minute we arrived it was amazing! The lady who runs it (apologies can't remember her name) couldn't have done enough for us, took our cases while we went out for the rest of... More

We stayed here in March this year for 4 days and had a excellent stay at this 5 star B&B. It has parking within the front garden of the property. It is in a very good location on the Corstophine Road opposite the Murrayfield rugby statium with buses every 5 minutes during the day (less so in the evening), you... More

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this 5 star guest house. The room had great character and had everything you would need and like to have eg the usual complementary tea and coffee, bottle of water each, chocolates and a decanter of sherry. There was the usual hair dryer and we also had bathrobes in one of... More

We were on our way further north and decieded to stay in Edinburgh overnight. We looked through the internet to find somewhere and my wife found Kingsburgh House. We made the booking over the internet and arrived late afternoon. From the moment we walked through the door we realised we had found somewhere special, The lady that welcomed us was... More

We decided to stay at the Kingsburgh house as it was 5* and within walking distance to edinburgh zoo and princess st. On arrival all was well. When taken to our room it was very small and cramped for a family room with a minature bathroom with no bath. Once the travel cot was next to the bed you could... More

Booked the Kingsburgh House online. On arrival we was greeted well and with a smile. Shown to our room which was fantastic and clean and well decorated. We were then told about the local bus and transport services and recommended some very good attractions to see as it was our first time in Scotland. The breakfast was lovely and I... More
