We had a fab couple of nights at the Kingsburgh. Andrena was very welcoming and gave us lots of useful info regarding Edinburgh. We had a lovely complimentary drink on arrival and a really nice room with a four poster bed and lots of storage space. There was an ample supply of shampoo, shower gel etc. The breakfast was nothing... More

My husband and I stayed at Kingsburgh House for our honeymoon. We loved Kingsburgh house, we were greeted with a very warm welcome by staff at Kingsburgh house and received personalized service throughout our stay. I would definitely give it a 5* rating. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. They had choclates and drinks ready for us in... More

We arrived without having booked in advance. Luckily there was still one room available (if only for one night), and we were welcomed in a very friendly manner. The big room was in style with the historic house and neither that nor the en-suite left anything to be wished for. The breakfast was great as well - we'd stay here... More

A weekend break in the city, we decided to go 5* B&B, but it makes me question the whole rating system, unless my idea of 5* is different from the certification bodies. Kingsburgh House itself is excellent, couldn't really fault it nor the decor. Our room was a bit tight for space though and one chair for 2 people means... More

We stayed here for a special birthday weekend and were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The hotel is traditionally fashioned as befitting its style, the rooms are well soundproofed with en-suite; good sized breakfast room downstairs with very good sized traditional Scottish breakfast on offer and rapidly served-up, with plenty of alternatives available. Although the hotel is near... More

Stayed there at beginning of the month for an overnight stay, we were going out for a meal and shopping in Edinburgh and decided to treat ourselves by booking the Kingsburgh. It is, without exception the best Hotel we have ever stayed at and is well worth the 5 stars it has been awarded. On arrival we were met by... More

Well I must admit, I had a few doubts when my husband said he had booked us a B&B for our wedding anniversary but these doubts disappeared when we arrived.... We were greated by a lovely warm welcome by Alan with a glass of wine and a beer. Alan spent some time with us recommending places to go and things... More

Arrived one hour ago and already this is the warmest welcome my wife and I have ever received at a hotel - and we stay in a lot!! Hotel manager could not have been more friendly and welcoming. He showed a genuine interest in the reason for our stay and was genuinely keen to ensure we got the most out... More

Our trip to Scotland in August revolved around watching our 15 year old son compete for 5 minutes in the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow. As the WPB comp, corresponded with the Tattoo we decided to make a flying trip to Edinburgh. Big mistake. From the moment we walked into Kingsburgh House, we knew we wanted to stay longer.... More

We have just spent a fantastic weekend at Kingsburgh House. From the warm and friendly welcome we received, the warm, comfortable, clean and spacious room, to the folders of information available for perusal whilst you enjoy a complimentary drink. There was so much choice at breakfast from an extremely well cooked one to continental and all was extremely tasty. Within... More
