Very nice, comfortable room in this charming B & B. Location was excellent – not in the City Centre, but bus stops were within a few steps of the front door. The full breakfast was delicious and filling. The owners were very helpful with brochures and suggestions of things to do and see. Highly recommended.

Quaint relaxing atmosphere, beautiful greeting on arrival, even after arriving early. Breakfast and wanted to know who I was and gave me all the best routes and sites to visit. Highly recommend due to the individual attention to your needs and care. Loved it!

The proprietors of Kingsburgh House should be very proud of their establishment. Myself and husband have just spent the weekend in Edinburgh. On arrival we were met by the lady of the house and were most welcomed - a large glass of wine. The four poster Kingsburgh room was absolutely beautiful - the décor magnificent with the beautiful ceiling and... More

As has already been mentioned in many reviews, this is a wonderful B&B with great attention to detail. We recieved a very warm welcome on arrival, with lots of useful information with regards to the local area and the offer of a beer or wine once we were shown to our room. The room was very nice, with all of... More

We have stayed at Kingsburgh House several times and are looking forward to future stays. Andrena and Alan will make you feel right at home and take care of your every need. The house is beautifully furnished and has those lovely special touches here and there. As I bring small groups around Scotland quite often, it is especially nice to... More

Hotel itself was nice enough, the staff were certainly friendly and helpful. I booked this B&B for 1 night based on the reviews on TA, but was quite disappointed at what we found. Our bed had a saggy uncomfortable mattress and the bed frame was falling apart at the edges. The bathroom was built into the bedroom and it felt... More

If you want to take your partner away for a romantic break then the Kingsburgh House was made for you. I doubt very much if you will find a nicer room anywhere in edinburgh than the kingsburgh room which we were allocated. Whether it be the four poster bed or the sumptious couches or the little touches, one will be... More

This is an absolutely wonderful place, the decor is beautiful, the service better than any hotel and fully deserves its 5 star rating. The full scottish breakfast is awesome and you need to be really hungry to clear it all, we both failed!! I would recommend this guest house 100% and would certainly book here again. The owners are a... More

Kingsburgh House gives you the chance to experience Scottish charm and soak in local flavour. It's a small B & B well off the main areas, but perhaps more luxuriously appointed than others in its category. Most reviewers have been ecstatic about the wine and chocolates offered, however it is a house custom for all guests and should not influence... More
