This b and b is in a good location-15 minute walk from Edinburgh zoo and a short taxi ride into the city centre ( about £10). Comfortable rooms with good amenities. A lovely welcome with a complimentary drink -a fantastic way to settle in. Breakfast is lovely, the fresh fruit selection was the best I have seen. More

This Hotel/Guest House rates as one of the best I have ever stayed in. As a woman on my own I can honestly say I felt extremely safe and well looked after. I was on business and arrived with two colleagues who lived close by - my host offered us all a glass of wine which was a lovely and... More

Every luxury B&B should use Kingsburgh House as their starting template. Attention to detail was impeccable. A warm welcome on arrival and complimentary drinks delivered to our beautifully appointed room. Breakfast was a special treat - selection and quality impressive. Great bus links into Edinburgh city centre on the doorstep. Would not hesitate to return or recommend this luxurious getaway... More

Together with my husband we spent two night in Kingsburgh House, this was the first time in many visits to Edinburgh from Australia that we have had to find accommodation and we could not have picked anywhere better. Beautifully maintained building, extremely comfortable and well equipped rooms, huge Scottish Breakfasts, and very warm and helpfull owners. It is excellent having... More

We were made very welcome - given an upgraded room and 2 lovely glasses to red wine and nibbles as a welcome. Room was the 4 poster and as others have... More

I'm sure I am repeating much of what was said before when I say that Kingsburgh House is a wonderful place to stay. The house and room (we stayed in the four poster room and I can utterly recommend it) were fabulous. Tastefully decorated with all the facilities you need - and lots of nice touches to make it extra... More

Very warm & professional welcome. Very comfortable, clean large and and airy room. Breakfast was brilliant and there are many 5 star hotels that could learn from them. Would thoroughly recommend. More

Stayed there for two nights over September weekend and it is hard to imagine how we could have had a better stay anywhere else. We were allocated a four poster bed room that was beautifully appointed. Every possible facility and amenity was available and we really felt pampered by the welcoming and friendly owners. Breakfast the next morning would have... More
