We stayed on the top floor. The room definitely needs updating as the red carpet didnt really appeal to us. The bathroom smelt very musty all the time, and the tv didnt really work. It wasnt on the upper side in terms of location, but it was only 15 minutes walk to Princes St, Edinburgh Castle and museums. more
