This B&B is a perfect solution for visiting Edinburgh in August if you have your car. It is in a quiet residential quarter; There is a private parking and the bus stop is at few meters. The rooms are small but very clean. The breakfast is wonderful..you can eat haggis if you want! Only one trouble: Internet doesn't work very... more

Having stayed at this hotel a few times Iam compelled to write a brief review for anyone travelling in Scotland and staying in Edinburgh. I have always found my stay comfortable in clean quiet well kempt rooms. The owners are helpful and accommodating. This side of the town offers best access too for sightseeing and business alike. Sandra Walker is a very friendly and helpful hostess who makes you feel welcome and always has time for a chat. The house (four bedrooms) is beautifully kept and very clean and tidy. We had Room No. 2 again which is... more

Wonderful accomodations, lovely hosts, delicious breakfast and great location! Neil even woke up his wife, Leslie, who cooks, to make us a meal at eleven p.m. We had a delightful stay and would go back again. more

We stayed in Edinburgh for the Open Championship in St. Andrews, and spent five nights @ Brae Lodge(30 Liberton Brae). Stewart & Lynda Forsyth were gracious hosts, and very helpful in getting us around town. The ac- comodations were clean and more than acceptable. Breakfast was quite sufficient. We would easily stay with them again!! more
