This hotel was originally booked instead of its Edinburgh City Centre counterpart which costs more per night, especially at the weekend.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed, and found the hotel AT FIRST to be pretty basic, but overall okay. But as time went on (we stayed two nights) we found that the sheets weren't changed, there were suspicious stains on the shower curtain and in the bath, the bedding was ripped and not entirely clean. As soon as we had checked in and entered the room I sat on a chair to take off my shoes only to find it was wet and smelled of vomit. Hate to think what I'd sat on!

This sort of thing is not something that would normally be of that much bother to us, but as we payed for Premier Inn we expected Premier Inn standard. We have stayed at Premier Inn on a few occassions in different parts of the country and had wonderful service those times.

I would only recommend this Premier Inn to people expecting tatty, low budget accommodation. more
