We stayed here during the marathon weekend last year so I am a bit late with my review I know! This is was a lucky find after I had either been too late to get accommodation for the weekend or it had gone up in price. I think this place was expensive but then it is supply and demand and... More

Brian and Yvonne were wonderful hosts, the house is lovely and spotlessly clean too. My room was excellent and the bed was so comfortable! A regular bus service from various nearby stops gets you to the city centre in 5-10 minutes or you can walk in half an hour. I would highly recommend this B&B to other travellers. More

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and everything was fine apart from the bed in our room which was a little too soft for our taste, we just could not get comfortable and thus had two fitful nights. However, that aside everything else was first class, the hospitality, the location and breakfast. Some great places to eat/drink -... More

Lovely B and B to stay and bus stop close. We had three nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Showers were great and rooms very pretty. Breakfast was very good. The best Indian restaraunt close. More

My husband and I decided on a last minute trip to Edinburgh for Hogmanay and found the Lauderville by chance on a search engine. We were able to park easily and free (centre parking is £4.80 for 2hrs!) and had an en-suite to the rear of this beautifully restored building. Although the room was on the small side (as was... I stayed here with my partner recently for the weekend starting October 8, and would definitely stay here again. The room and en suite were spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable with an amazing array of pillows. Simon cooked an excellent breakfast, would really recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The whole hotel was clean, tidy, stylishly restored and... More

This guest house is very clean, the owners are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts excellent. There is a pretty little garden where guests can sit. There's a good 'bus service into the city, otherwise it's quite a long walk. Our room was comfortable but a little cramped & the ensuite was tiny although the owners had done their best... More

We found Lauderville guest house on the internet at quite late notice and booked up based on some decent reviews on Trip Advisor and not much else. It was in a nice part of Edinburgh about 20 minutes walk from the Royal Mile and had a couple of nice pubs nearby. The room was nicely decorated and in good repair,small... More
