A very friendly reception, good quality room and great breakfast at a very reasonable price. My room at the front overlooked a park which was ideal for an early morning stroll. The complimentary drink in the room on arrival was a very nice touch.

The rooms, staff, and food are without compromise, all at a very affordable price. The included sherry was a welcomed treat, and Marina was kind enough to mail us an item we left in the safe within a day of finding it. If I ever return to Scotland, this will undoubtedly be where I stay. I truly cannot recommend it... More

We have stayed here 3 times, and have no hesitation in recommending it. The rooms are tastefully furnished, comfy beds and nicely appointed bathrooms. We both slept well, with no disturbance from noise either inside or out. Breakfast is excellent and staff very obliging. The guest house overlooks Leith Links, which is an extensive area of pleasant recreational parkland. There... More

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend in March. It cost us £70 per night without breakfast for a standard double room. Rooms The room we had was very comfortable and clean. Stayed for a couple of nights with my daughter, whilst visiting her Uni (all being well this coming Sept). The B&B was lovely, very welcoming staff, pretty room, nice touch with the free port, very clean and the food was excellent. Right next to a bus stop, which takes you to Princes Street - couldn't be any easier to get... More

Please read the fine print when booking this hotel or booking via Booking.Com.My office booked a King Room, single occupancy with breakfast, unfortunately the person making the booking clicked on the day of my conference and not before, a few hours after the mistake was noticed the Sandaig was contacted to try to rebook while they still had availability, but... We visited the Sandaig in Edinburgh for a long weekend in February 2014. Initially we were looking for somewhere a bit closer to the city centre, but upon reflection we made the perfect choice! The Sandaig is in a nice quiet location with a very convenient and reliable bus service right on the doorstep, £1.50 for a single and £3.50... More
