I had a wonderful stay at the Sandaig. Andy was very welcoming & couldn't do enough. Some wonderful little touches like a welcome drink in your room on arrival. The breakfast choices were exceptional & you were certainly set up for the day. I would definitely recommend this wonderfully warm & welcoming hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay but the decor is a bit tired and could do with a revamp. The proprietor was a very pleasant chap and breakfast was good with a wide selection of food. However the location is not brilliant and I think it was quite expensive, all things considered.

Andy was most helpful as our host. super room and breakfast. Close to excellent restaurants on shore rd and no problems with parking. little jobs need more urgent attention but it didn't detract from an excellent weekend.

This is a nice B&B but it isn't central and it is not great for families. The room was too small for 4 of us with very limited storage. The décor is quirky and the service is great and the breakfast has a fantastic and plentiful range. But it was quite expensive and we were very squashed

Very nice room, very friendly service, breakfast fresh and abundant. Located 1 min from bus 25, which goes in 10 min. to City Centre. Night-Bus-Station also near. Very silent street at night. We had a smaller problem with the shower, which was instantly solved. We loved our stay there.

We stayed 3 nights at The Sandaig during the Fringe. Price-wise I found it on the expensive side of things, but given that the Fringe was on, I suspect that prices were high everywhere. Having said that, the place was like a hotel and we were delighted with it! Andy gave us a nice welcome (he called in advance to... More

Karen and Andy made us feel at home and the breakfast was excellent, the rooms were clean and quiet and the location was fantastic. Andy was always able to give us good advise on what to see. We would recommend to stay and we look forward to our return.

We used the Sandaig whilst at the Fringe. Getting somewhere for the Fringe isn't always simple & getting somewhere reasonably good at a decent price is even trickier. Last time we went, we had left it a bit late and the B&B we finished up in wasn't anything special at all. So, we booked a lot earlier this year and... More

Dear Norm C, I am disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay and i feel sorry that you were not able to check-in at 3pm on friday. Our guesthouse is a family-run business and this is why we always ask for an estimated time of arrival for all of our guests, so that we could arrange... More

We stayed at the Sandaig for the Fringe, and were overjoyed with the choice. Andy gave us a wonderful welcome, and was a perfect host - giving us info about bus routes and the city, then even offering a pre-order for our breakfast when we had to head out early one day (definitely not to be missed - an excellent... Andy And Karen offer that personal touch that makes all guests feel like they have come home. The rooms are very clean and the size of our family room was just right. very clean with quality fabrics. The choice of breakfast was excellent and its location meant you can enjoy a gentle stroll in the park as well as a... More
