Andy And Karen offer that personal touch that makes all guests feel like they have come home. The rooms are very clean and the size of our family room was just right. very clean with quality fabrics. The choice of breakfast was excellent and its location meant you can enjoy a gentle stroll in the park as well as a... More

We stayed here for 3 nights to enjoy a long weekend in Edinburgh. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and given directions to our room. Once there we had to giggle at how mis - matched all the decor was in our cramped top floor room and the floor was so creaky we were scared to move!... More

My husband and I stayed at the Sandaig for 4 nights in mid-July... first stop on our 30th anniversary UK trip. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom had both a shower and tub, and breakfast included many options, each well-prepared and cheerfully served. We enjoyed the nearby Shore pubs and restaurants, and though the bus was super-convenient when we had... More

We stayed at Andy and Karen's guest house from July 23-25 2014. They are wonderful hosts and their guest house is very nicely decorated, very clean and the breakfast that is included was very tasty. The waitress was also very kind and accommodating. It is located in a nice area of Edinburgh with a nice walk through the park to... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Sandaig Guesthouse many times. We recently enjoyed a four night stay and were greeted by new owners Andy and Karen. Andy was unbelievably welcoming and friendly and just couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Karen does all the hard work preparing great breakfasts! The young lady serving... I stayed here on two seperate nights in early July, having also stayed here in July 2013 and cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. The accommodation is of the highest quality and the staff excellent. The choice of breakfast fayre is wide and the portions, if anything, too large (however not large enough to put you off) but beautifully cooked... More

Stayed in the Sandaig Guesthouse for 2 nights with my partner (Room No. 5), the room was great with a great view of Leith park. The bus stop was close to the guesthouse and the breakfast was superb with a fantastic menu to choose from. The girl serving the breakfast was extremely nice as well.

Facing the park, very comfortable beds, good size room, peaceful and only a short-ish walk to the city centre what more can you ask? Breakfasts were great and there is loads of free street parking outside. Superb
