Before going we had looked up reviews on the hotel and were left a little worried after reading some of them, and in one warned about room 10, also the lack of hospitality from most of the staff, On arrival we were warmly greeted at the front door but a little worried when told we had room 10! We had... More

Overall a nice hotel. However the double was the smallest we had ever slept in. No shaved point in the bathroom, and No way of turning on the heated towel rail. No plugs by the bedside tables of the double bed, and the kettle needed to have a longer lead, as it could not reach any of the sockets.

Just back from a two night stay in this hotel for my boyfriends birthday. My Samsung galaxy S4 went missing after arriving in the hotel to check in, the last place I had it was in reception. When I got to my room I realised my phone was gone and my boyfriend rang the phone. It rang twice but on... More

At £170 for a double room it feels over priced for very ordinary rooms, with a poor breakfast quality cheap sausages and bacon a toaster that only did one side. The Room #10 was off lobby and noisy it at lease wifi worked (public areas only). The staff talked loudly in there own language and didn't seem bothered with guests.... More

My husband and I stayed here from 27th - 31st March 2014. This was our 20th wedding anniversary treat and just needed somewhere to sleep mainly as we had planned lots of sightseeing. When we arrived we found the manager very pleasant and informative in regards to public transport and trips etc. He showed us to our room and we... More

This Hotel, as a Hotel, is fine, our room (28) was great on the whole. However, the toilet flush didnt work, and after mentioning this to the manager (I'll come back to him later) it took him over a day to fix it. All the staff were eastern european, and didnt speak great English The breakfast in the morning was... More

My mother and I stayed for 2 nights and it was lovely! Spacious, clean, beautiful and excellent value! When e arrived and we had trouble with stairs (my mother walks with a cane) they offered to swap out room to the ground floor, very thoughtful of them! They were efficient and friendly and couldn't have asked for a better place... More

We stayed for 3 nights with a 4 year old. The room was spacious and very clean. The host was very helpful and full of local knowledge. The breakfast food was excellent and plenty of choice, whatever you wanted you could have!! Very close to the town centre, easy to walk to but plenty of buses pass the top of... More

I was traveling alone to Scotland to go to job interviews as I'm relocating to this beautiful country next month. The positioning of this B&B (no evening meals so not a hotel) was perfect. 3 minutes from the railway station and a whole host of buses nearby. I did not go into town but it's only a short walk or... Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and hope to return. We arrived here and were welcomed at the door by the owner (an absolute gentleman), we arrived a little early however as our room was ready we were able to check in straight away. Our room was quite large, with a four poster bed and was immaculately... More
