We stayed at this womderful hotel between Christmas and Hogmanay. We could not be more pleased. This hotel is more like a large B&B (and I mean that in the best way!). The rooms are all different and beautifully furnished with antiques. The Scottish breakfast every morning in the dining room was divine. The location is fabulous, about a block... More

Stayed at this beautiful hotel just after Christmas. The hospitality from the moment we walked through the door was lovely. Beautiful hotel, tasteful antiques greet you as you walk in the door of this beautiful 200 yr old property. But the big surprise was our room - a basement room with its own private patio area - from traditional to... More

We arrived and the owner was really kind. Our room was lovely and warm. Bath ok too. The breakfast was perfect with hoy and cold meals, fruit... We arrived with Airlink 100 bus that stops very closed and its 7 pounds return ticket. Center city un ten minutes walk. Nice walk. We will recomend it.

Service was brilliant and for the price I actually felt ashamed for what I paid Vs what I received!! Will most defiantly be... More

Comfortable property with all the usual amenities, friendly staff, however parking is not available onsite and we managed to rack ourselves up a £30 parking fine for not knowing that we couldn't park in the unmarked parks out the front of the property and ended up having to park 2 miles away. Beds are comfortable and we were even upgraded... More

The Lairg Hotel is a clean comfortable budget hotel, it's only a 5 min walk from Haymarket Rail Station, however coming by car could present you with trouble parking. The staff were friendly and helpful if you required info into town or sights. The breakfast's were very good but we had to wait for a while to be seated, but... More

Very welcoming, room was more than adequate, very clean. Bathroom was spacious and, again, very clean. Breakfast was excellent, great choice and quantity. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Irma. Location is ideal, close to bus and tram links to city centre. Will definitely go back.
