Very good room with everything clean and you can find all you need for your stay (kettle, teas and coffee included). Perfect position in the city and good bus connection with the hotel. Nice staff and great breakfast choosing an hot meal as well.

This hotel is small with 17 rooms, and has been established as a converted terraced house. The style and approach are a little bit different, but the package most certainly works. The room I had was small but very comfortable. The bed was unusually good for a hotel of any size! Wifi was very reliable. Only criticism I would make... More

I stayed here for one night while attending a conference nearby. The hotel was perfect - full of character, clean, fantastic staff and loads of attention to small detail. And best of all - very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back.

Like everyone else, we loved this place. It's about a twenty room bed and breakfast type place with fabulous , well appointed rooms. The little touches were second to none. Recently sold, the prior owner had obviously put everything he had not loving this place. Every indication was the new owner had the same plan in mind. From towel racks... More

Stayed for 4 nights in October 2014. Nice clean room, friendly and helpful staff, and free wi-fi and a nice breakfast included in the price of the room as well. Initially hesitant to stay 10 minutes from central Edinburgh, but frequent buses (like every 10 minutes or so) from bus stop just around the corner made this a non-issue. The... More

I stayed here on the 31st of October until 2nd of November 2014. The hotel was excellent! Friendly, helpful staff and a nice location not too far from Edinburgh town centre. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

THIS IS A PLEASANT AND nice small hotel located not far from the center of town and the bus stop is only 250 meters away so no need to take your car since parking is dear in center speaking in parking be aware to part exactly as required since otherwise the street wardens are likely to give you a ticket-... After a very long drive from Birmingham, we were exhausted when we arrived in Edinburgh and couldn't have been happier when we saw the hotel. Although right in the city and minutes from everything, it's on a quiet residential street lined with townhouses and the hotel itself is inside an old townhouse. It's beautiful on the inside; characterful without being... More

I stayed here for two nights with my 7 year old daughter. We had a ground floor room which was comfortable and although right next to the front door, was surprisingly quiet. I really liked that the hotel emailed through additional information before we arrived including details of the buses etc which we used whilst we were there. The breakfasts... More

Very comfortable and friendly small hotel in an interesting part of the city south of the old town. Quiet, just off the main road and with excellent bus connections. Not exactly modern decor in the rooms, but very comfortable and the price includes a wide choice of breakfast. Car parking could be a problem, but if you are travelling using... More
