Craigmoss is well situated for the centre of edinburgh and on good bus routes for other parts of the city.We were immediately made to feel welcome on arrival and throughout our stay of 3 nights. our room was clean, well-equipped and warm. Breakfast was excellent and well organised.I have made another booking to stay there on my own this time... more

A small family run guest house within walking distance of both Edinburgh and Leith. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had the usual en suit facilities. There is ample on street parking, we just left the car and walked everywhere. There is a bus stop outside with frequent busses to Leith and, on the other side of the road,... more

We stayed for a week in late Aug beginning Sept 09. Although arriving very early in the morning we were welcomed and made comfortable in our spotless cosy room. Breakfast was superb with a varied menu to choose from... The guesthouse is just 20mins walk to the city centre and if you don't feel like walking there is a bus... more

The guesthouse was fantastic , it lived up to expectations and really made our stay in Edinburgh complete. The family who run it are very hospitable making our two young children (4 & 8) very welcome. The room was really well furnished, very comfortable beds and nice heavy curtains that allowed us all to sleep in. There was a really... more

We stayed at the Craigmoss for four consecutive nights and received a nice discount on the seasonal rate. Even though there were a few issues, all in all the hospitality was welcoming, bearing in mind it is located in a large city. Please note that walking to the city center will take you no less than 20 minutes, but the... more

Stayed here for 2 nights with my daughters, was looked after by (?) the very friendly member of staff. Room was very clean & comfortable (though not the very quaint old fashioned divan bed my daughter tells me!) lovely furnishings and very friendly people. Only a 15-20 minute walk to Princess St, lots of restaurants handy and a huge cinema... more

Had a very nice time in Craigmoss House. The room was big, bright and nice furnished with a very comfortable bed. You can choose between several breakfast options. Especially the Scottish breakfast was delicious. There's also Wi-Fi and you can use their PC for internet. The bus station in front the door lets you reach the city in 5-10 minutes... more
