My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for an over night in Edinburgh. We were very impressed by the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and we found the room to be very clean and comfortable. It is in a good location, approximately a 10 min walk from Princes Street, making it a great base for those who... More

Really lovely cosy hotel, fantastic value for money! Big spacious rooms, keys for main door and room so you can come and go after hours. Breakfast is adequate. The room was clean and tidy, hair dryer in room and iron and full ironing board available. Shower could've done with more oomph but nothing to worry about! Lovely old building, would... More

I have just had a short trip to Edinburgh for 3 nights. The rooms very comfortable and warm. The location very central for Princes Street and plenty of local restaurants. Good breakfast cooked to order. Convenient to the airport bus

We were 3 adults who shared a family room. It worked excellently as we had a double bed and single in main room, but we had an adjoining room with bunks which gave us plenty of space and privacy. We paid £75 for the night, which included breakfast for all 3 of us. Can't argue with that! Breakfast was very... More

Supremely friendly and accommodating staff - the best customer service I have experienced at a hotel. The location is ideal for seeing the best of Edinburgh. The room was nice and comfortable with all the amenities that we needed. The shower was not a full blast of water but did the job (that is the only thing that I can possibly... More

It's just the right mix of a B&B and a hotel. It has that homey feeling, cosy beds, tea in the room, excellent cooked breakfast that you normally associate with a B&B. Yet they also have those small conveniences of a hotel like they don't turn off heating at night and you can adjust it in _your_ room, electric shower... More
