Had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning b&b. Would recommend without hesitation. Fantastic central location and we were made to feel so welcome by the owners Liz and Dave. They made our stay so enjoyable and were on hand day or night if needed. They gave great advise on where to visit in Edinburgh and were so welcoming... More

I found myself in very unpleasant situation due to the accommodation pricing policy of this guesthouse. I booked a room in June for this New Years Eve and I got an email only at the end of October from the owner telling me that there was an error with the price of the initial booking and that the price of... Amazing 2 nights to remember in the most warm and welcoming environment created by Dave and liz. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was made to perfection. We were even asked what our choice for breakfast would be on arival. (Even for my unusal request for burnt bacon was delivered) definitely will be returning!

The place is just horrible - it is located right on a street with heavy traffic so it is extremely noisy. Cheap plastic windows can't be closed so you feel like you are sleeping in the middle of the street. The house smells some insect poison. The wi-fi is sporadic. The interior of the room is cheap and trashy with... More

I have never stayed in a guest of this standard before. The rooms were immaculate and designed to a very high standard which would give a few five star hotels a run. Free WiFi was an added bonus as I was working in Edinburgh and needed internet access. I stayed in the twin room which had no on-suite but this... More

It is not central located but it is 10 - 15 minutes walk from the city center, which is fine. Rooms are nice, toilets are cleaned and good. Not noisy, nice and tasty breakfast. Not expensive at all. The house is nice and cozy.

My partner and I booked a room at the Conifer's Guest House initially staying for two nights but as we enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night! From the minute we booked the Guest House we were very pleased with the communication from the owner, David and how welcoming and friendly him and his wife were. Our... More

My husband and I were luckily to get the big room. We stayed in room number 4. Beautiful big room with a bay window and street view. The owner David was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the city and tourist attractions. The breakfast was very good as well. The location is good as well, not too close from the main... More

First time in Scotland, visited Edinburgh for my birthday weekend. The Conifers is a lovely homely B&B, spotlessly clean, good breakfast and friendly hosts. We had room 4 which is extremely comfortable. Would recommend to friends.
