we stayed for the rugby league weekender and it was supurb. we are gutted we can't go next year. the hotel was spotless,the food great and anne and phil entertaining hosts. this is highly recommended more

I stayed in Joppa Turrets in 2008 and again this year during the festival. It is a wonderful guesthouse - beautiful location, lovely clean house, excellent choice at breakfast and Anne and Phil are friendly, intelligent hosts. Bus fare is £1.20 to town. This B&B has recently changed owners, unfortunately the standard of the B&B has declined. The rooms are in need of a makeover, dirty wallpaper, carpets and sinks. A good deep clean is required, there were actually reminants of previous occupants whiskers in the washbasin! yuki! The shower head was dirty and not very powerful.
