We stayed here 2 nights for my birthday and loved every minute, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The room was huge and had everything we needed. Walking distance to the zoo and short bus ride to the centre. We will defiantly be returning. Thank you Murrayfield hotel for a fantastic stay.

My daughter and I had a day and overnight in Edinburgh before fling out of Edinburgh Airport. Murrayfield House was very easy to find and had ample on site parking. There is a bus stop less than a block away and it was easy to jump a bus and be in Princes Street 15 minutes later ( it will be... More

We had a short stop here on the way to the airport. Really wished we had a second night. The Irish woman behind the desk was refreshing as she clearly knew what she was doing she gave directions and recommendations to the people ahead of us along with a short history lesson of the attraction - the queue moved fast... me, my husband and our 3 year old boy stayed here for 1 night. it's not a bad place, but it feels quite old, there are minimal refurbishments, the en-suite toilet was the best part of our room, there were old windows and furniture. and since our room was above or at least close to the kitchen it was a... Hi kikimatza many thanks for taking the time to write your review, due to the thickness of the walls in the building at times the complimentary wifi signal can struggle to reach certain parts of the building at times. We are always looking for ways to improve and thank you for your feedback. Kind Regards Colin Brand General Manager More

The rooms were very small and the beds should come with health warning very uncomfortable pillows were a waste of time as they were so flat. The tv did not work neither did the hairdryer. Apart from the room the staff were friendly and the food in the bar was good. Continental breakfast was poor not much choice. But it... More

Went to Edinburgh for the night. Lovely room, nice hotel visually, and free wifi. This amounts to 2 stars. In the morning, no hot water. Told staff at the desk, and the response was 'sorry but the hotel is full at the moment'. No offer of a discount. And 'sorry BUT' isn't an apology. Breakfast cost 15 quid each and... More

My dad and I stayed in the swanky Murrayfield House for a couple nights and were definitely feeling pretty luxurious at first. Very impressive decor, tasty snacks, really cool bathroom.
