I found the staff excellent, the check in girl was super, restaurant staff very helpful and the cleaning staff which I met in the corridors all smiled and said hello. These qualities are very often lacking in big cities nowadays but Edinburgh was a great experience and the hotel was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended

The Apex Internatione has a good location at th Grassmarket, close to the Castle.
