We stayed here for a couple of nights, and really enjoyed our stay. It is university student halls of residence, which are rented out over the summer. But they are clean and have everything you need. They are located about 20 minutes walk from the centre, which is fine, although we did get a taxi back a couple of times... More

Excellent accommodation and food. Easy access to the city, and the staff very very helpful. Will try and visit again. Huge choice for breakfast, eat as much as you like. Didn't have evening meals but next time we would. Rooms very clean.

This isn't exactly a hotel - it's University dorm rooms rented out while uninhabited. This is fine for me - the rooms are functional, clean and the buildings are very modern. There is 24 hour security, the complex is full of beautiful greenery, and the free breakfast is EXCELLENT. There is also free, fast Wi-Fi in every room.

Stayed here for a couple of nights last week to attend the Festival and Military Tattoo. Great choice. It's well located just over a mile from the city centre. Our welcome at reception was terrific and genuine. The room had a good view of Arthur's Seat and the breakfast was outstanding. Self service but with a vast choice of cooked... More

The breakfast is superb! Wi-Fi marvelous! Room nice! Staff friendly! The Hollyrood Park is around the corner and a view from the top of Arthur' s Seat is amazing! Bus stop is not far and it's only 6-7 min's ride from Royal Mile.

Very nice place.Perfect place to use as a base for the fringe, whether a performer or punter. The breakfast was very great with a good selection and very filling,so you didn't have to eat for the rest of the day. Staff were very friendly and helpful.I stayed in a single room, which was virtually en-suite as the showers were opposite me. The halls... More

This is fantastic, simple clean room with fast wifi, closeish to the center of town and that breakfast... it was phenomenal, one of the best breakfasts I've had anywhere! I checked in at 3am having been at the festival and the night staff were great too.

There is no parking for the guests at night. security staff are so arrogant and rude. i was staying there on 11 aug 2014. at the time of checkin he let me in and park the car in campus as there is reserved parking but at night he didn't allowed and told me very rudely "parked anywhere outside this gate,... I travelled up to the Fringe with my husband and our brothers and used this hotel as our base. It looked just like uni accommodation except our room had some rather beautiful views. Rooms were nice and tidy and did the job. Staff were really friendly and helpful, manning the reception for 24 hours and allowing us to leave our... More

I was visiting for the Festival and I have nothing but praise for this student accommodation. Terrific value especially as I had been given an upgrade to a very quiet double ensuite room with view at the back to Arthur's Seat. Spotlessly clean, even better equipped than a Premier Inn room. There was a tv, hanging space, desk, and a... More
