Just returned from an overnight in Edinburgh after going to see wicked. Great location and very clean. just one not so good point no toileries if they were there it would have made it perfect. Great for an overnight stay though and you just need to take your own.

Had 5 days here in November. Very good family room overlooking Princes Street and the staion. We always book a family room as it is slightly bigger. Room 209 was large, and we thought there might be noise as we overlooked the busy junction. No need to worry, did not even hear the tram bell! As stated previously, the entrance... More

Cannot fault this Travelodge. Great location, great value for money, lovely helpful professional staff. You can also leave your luggage when you checkout if you are not going home straight away for a small donation to McMillan. Considering it is £10 per item at the train station and we had 5 items we thot this was a great service as... More

Stayed at Princes St Travelodge. Dark dingy lane entrance . Hotel itself clean and comfortable. The water was only lukewarm so not enjoyable for bathing and showering. We had a family room which was a big room and only one small heater at far end of room so not sufficient heat .A lot of night noise.Have used Travelodges many times... More

excellent location, good value for money, clean comfortable rooms only negative was lack of storage space - there were no drawers or shelves. A table would have been useful. We checked in easily. Rooms were quiet, TV was good, shower worked well.

First impressions were terrible, a small entrance door along an alleyway lined with refuse bins from the shops in the street in front, the receptionist was friendly and helpful on arrival as our rooms werent ready and we had booked early check in, even though we were over an hour later than early check in commences, room was clean and... Recently stayed at this hotel and thought it was great location - right off Princes Street and could walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Staff was really friendly. No hairdryers in the room however they do have them at the reception desk. Great value and would recommend staying here.

Firstly, We knew the entrance was up an alley/lane when we booked but we were still shocked and a little put off when we arrived. It is very off-putting and doesn't make a good impression for visitors. We were given room 213 , which was 2nd floor, looking directly onto the alley. From 10pm until 1am, there was constant LOUD...
