As a family with 4 grown kids, this was the perfect place for us. Short walk from megabus Station, near the Royal Mile, Princess Mall, Castle, and lots of Pubs and lovely shops. Breakfast included, two bars, free laundry, baggage storage, chill room , I only wish it had a bigger fridge/MV, dining area. Young, friendly, happy staff

I totally recommend this hostel. The location is great, around anything you need plus the bus station. Also all the tours start around there. The breakfast is ok, wifi only works from first floor, but u can stay in the chill out room while u use it :) Lockers are big and free! Also they have the city of the... More

This hostel is really bad! We stayed here for three nights, the only positive thing is its closeness to the Waverley Station. The room was too small, the floor too dirty, the room service inexisting, the neighbours disgustingly rude, the breakfast horribly uninspired and last but not least no WIFI in the rooms! Do not spoil your stay in Edinburgh... More

Enjoyed my stay at this hostel. We arrived too early to check-in, but the hostel had lockers where we could easily store all our belongings. We booked an all female dorm, and was happy that it had an en suite toilet and bath. The room was very basic, but it had everything we needed- a comfortable bed with clean linens,... More

Well let me tell you something about St. Christopher's Inn. The pros are a good bar, great location, a real good breakfast and big warm showers. Nothing is wrong with the place but it isn't spectacular. There is no kitchen which sucks and the bathrooms and showers are unisex. I was under the impression girls didn't poop so this was... More

St. Christopher's is usually a good place to stay at all of their locations where you know what to expect and nothing can go terribly wrong. In Edinburgh I especially liked: + Best location ever: directly situated across the main station and just a 2-min-walk from the Royal Mile + Free Breakfast & free WiFi + Clean rooms and facilities... We stayed here on a hen weekend in 2 different 6 bed dorms. The dorms were clean, ours had a great view out of the window, and near to the communal showers and toilets. We had a toilet and shower combo in our room, however it smelt a bit damp so we had to leave the fan on to air... More

The hostel is a short 10-15 min walk from the coach station and a 5 min walk from Waverly train station. Check-in was smooth, staff were friendly and they swapped me to a bottom bunk when I requested. As with all St. Christopher's franchises, they also provide a brochure that gives you a discount at the Belushi bar downstairs for... More

I really enjoy the St. Christopher's set up. I think it's great that you can have the restaurant connected and also with the discounts. We were grateful to do our laundry here. There were some problems however. There was some confusion with my sister's bed. When we came back in the evening her bed was taken by someone else and... More

Is a very good hostel. Secure, clean, people there is friendly, they have a very good breakfast. I Totally recommend it. It has a bar besides the reception. I didn't found so comfortable the chilling out area.
