I had a great time in Edinburgh @ Belushi's Hostel -st Christopher's Inn as ıt is great located. Hostel is central-located, close to tourist info, edinburgh castle, The Royal Mile(high street) where street entertainers performs and Sight Seeing Bus' first stop. The dorm I stayed ın for 3 nights, had colourfull butterflies on the wall and whole hallway painted ın... more

Stayed in a 4 female dorm... On the positive side - rooms are clean and it was handy having an ensuite bathroom inside the room. Good location - just across the road from the train station and walking distance to all the major tourist sites. On the negative - The TV/internet stank like a rubbish pit which was a bit... more

I would maybe recommend this place for a big group on a party weekend, otherwise I'd give it a miss. Bathrooms and showers were a bit grubby, the window wouldn't stay open (fresh air is fairly important in a six-person dorm) and the lift didn't seem to be working. The one thing it has in its favour is the great... more

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. In May there weren't many people there so although we paid for two nights in a 6 person room, my boyfriend and I had the entire room and private bathroom to ourselves. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they know the area really well. The bar (reasonably priced drinks) and... more

Just wanted to say, stayed in January and really wasn't happy with our experience. Due to the submission guidelines I can't tell all of the reasons why, email me if you would like more information. I had a major problem with some of the staff and besides that I don't think that, compared to some other hostels in Edinburgh, that... more

I stayed in one of their private rooms. Didn't know what standard to expect but was impressed non the less. Almost hotel standard. No tea or coffee making facilities but prices were reasonable and the staff were Fantastic. Theres a walkig tour we took from the Hostel, took about 3hrs and our feet were sore afterwards but well worth it... more

I came in knowing this was a hostel and not the Ritz, but talk about terrible. Two friends and I were staying in a four bed room, but when we checked in two of the beds had already been used. We asked 3 times for the linens to be changed but they never were. The room was so cramped that... more

This place is perfect, if you are looking for a cheap, central place to stay. We went as a Stag party looking for a central location and simple accomodation. There are 2 bars and a chill out room which worked out well after coming back to the hostel at 5am. Staff very helpfull and understanding to Stag party of 30... more

At 2 am we were woken by a drunken guy urinating outside our door. He then proceeded by trying to get into our room and we had to scream at him to make him go away. The urine then leaked under the door, forming a puddle on our floor. Fortunately, the staff hadn't left for the night and we got... more
