Staff: We were really impressed by the very welcoming receptionist who gave us some dinner recommendations. They were more than happy to take care of our luggage when we arrived a few hours before check in time and they were waiting in our room when we came back. Similarly as our flight wasn't until early evening we left our bags... More

The Glasshouse Endinburgh is easy to miss because it looks like a medieval church and not a hotel. However inside the modern design and super friendly/accomodative staff made our stay very memorable. We were lucky to catch a few sunny days in Edinburgh, thus got to use the huge balcony in our room which had picturesque view of the city.

My girlfriend and I decided to stay at the Glasshouse for a night during a trip to Edinburgh. From the moment we walked into the reception we were impressed with the looks and staff. We decided to stay at the Deluxe Suite which is expensive but more than worth it as we arrived early in the afternoon and made full... More

My wife & I have stayed at many top hotels around the world but this may be the best of all. I have never even noticed the entrance to this hotel in all the times we've visited Edinburgh. It is a magical place that we'll return to over and over. We were booked in for two nights as we had... More

I was in Edinburgh for work and was looking for a hotel near the station. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. Firstly I was greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful young lady. I was then shown to my room. The room was spacious and had everything I could have needed (including a balcony overlooking Edinburgh). There was complimentory wi... More

We stayed at the glasshouse in April. Overall the place was clean and tidy. Reasonably well appointed, but we paid a ridiculous price compared to other places we'd stayed in Scotland and compared to those this had less facilities and in-room comforts. Hunt around a bit because there is most likely something a bit more special in the area.

Don't usually place notices on these web sites, but I thought the Glasshouse deserves a mention. The hotel is in a good central location the rooms are very good but the point that is most worth a mention is the friendly staff. Friendly knowledgable and couldn't do enough for you

Myself and my partner stayed for two nights to celebrate my partner's birthday. We booked through Trivago and got an excellent deal, which we upgraded to a suite on arrival for £35 per night. The room was beautiful, and my partner was more than happy with his complimentary decanter of whiskey, however our stay was somewhat spoiled by being woken... More

We stayed in the Glasshouse in February and were totally charmed. They thought of everything.! The view was magnificent from our roof terrace and our room was fantastic Have no hesitation in recommending this boutique hote. We are very fussy people and couldn't find a fault. The only thing I would say that breakfast is overpriced, but if you book... More
