We couldn't have asked for better than the Airlie. Our room was lovely, the breakfast was great, we parked in the car park for free for the 4 days we stayed there and we got to check our emails whenever we wanted to. It was really good value and we'd love to go back. more

I feel that I have no alternative but to highlight the poor advert for edinburgh accommodation this booking provides. On 1st appearance it appears pleasant , clean and all you would expect from a b and b. However the basic requirement of hot running water was not available either in our room or in the shower. On enquiry we were... more

We - 3 persons - stayed 3 nights at Airlie. Fine and fast communication via e-mail, a warm welcome and nice "typical" b&b rooms. Small bathroom, coffee and tea facilities in the room. The breakfast was fine - apart from kitchen problems the first day. Full Scottish breakfast. Fiona assisted us in booking excursion tickets with discount. Fine busconnections. more

Had to get accommodation quickly and a colleague recommended the Airlie, and I'm so glad she did. Despite being late because of a flight delay Peter was very welcoming. My room was lovely and homely and I made use of the WiFi hotspot. Breakfast was great just sorry I was only there for one night! Will certainly stay at the... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Airlie Guest House in Edinburgh in March this year. We stayed at various Guest Houses in Scotland but were so impressed with the Airlie that we felt that we had to write about it. Peter was so helpful and patient and answered our many questions, Fiona even got us a 20% discount on... more

We loved the Airlie. It was the most expensive place that we stayed (still cheap at about 53 pounds per night) but the room we were given (supposedly a double room) was pretty vast and had a spacious double bed, a single bed and a sofa. Though Minto Street is quite a big street the room was completely quiet (it... more

I stayed here for three nights in February 2007 and absolutely loved it. First, there's a private car parking lot in the rear, so i was able to leave my rental car there and it had automatic lights - making it safe and very easy to come and go. The owner, Mrs. Flynn, led me round the building to show... more

A colleague of mine was staying at the Airlie Guesthouse and I tried calling her so that I could drive her to a meeting (5pm). The owner basically told me that I was bothering him and that he would not call my colleague. I then went to the guest house hoping I could find her that way. The owner came... more

Extremely helpful proprietors Peter and Fiona helped to make our stay in Edinburgh most memorable. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable The breakfast was very enjoyable. We were able to park our car in the private residents car park, saved worrying about leaving it on the street. Bus stop just across the road what more could you ask for? more
