We had a marvelous 4 nights with the Stuarts and can't wait to return to Edinburgh and stay there again. The location is wonderful--we could walk to just about everything that we wanted to see and when we couldn't walk, the bus was close by. Our room was enormous and faced the courtyard, so there was always a sense of... more

My two days with the Stuarts at their B&B was one of the nicest while traveling through Scotland. The breakfasts were the best - nice selection to choose from - I needed only one other meal the rest of the day because they were so hearty. The accomodations were attractive and clean. I was provided with information to help me... more

My dad and I stayed at the Stuarts in Feb 2006 for an important trip back to Scotland after 35 plus years. The accomdations were lovely and the location was unbeatable. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Gloria but Jon was an extrordinary host and when above and beyond to help us make our trip the trip of a... more

Nothing about this B and B could have been better for my wife and me during our week-long stay. The hosts are congenial and helpful in every way; the breakfasts are large and the choices many; the location is great for walking and is adjacent to a large park/golf course. The amenities in the rooms are useful. The entire place... more

I'll agree with all that's been said. A great place, quiet, next to the park, a few minutes walk from some good restaurants up Bruntsfield Road, about a mile from the center of Edinburgh's main tourist attractions, clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed accomodations. Their strong reputation on TripAdvisor is deserved and we'd happily stay again. more

The Stuarts BnB was a great place to stay when my mum and I were in Edinburgh. It is in a lovely quiet yet central location away from the main roads - which is quite hard to find in busy Edinburgh! We both thought the bnb was much nicer than staying in a hotel which would have cost the same... more

I can’t express enough of how I loved my stay to The Stuarts B&B. Only good points, such as: Privately owned and operated. Ideal for quiet, relaxing evenings. Just in front of a big park so beautifully located for leisurely walks. Excellent home-made meals. more

We had a great stay at the Stuarts. Our room was large and well decorated and the huge window looks out at their charming garden. The bathroom was also large and very clean. There's a computer with Internet access for guests--free of charge. During our entire trip to Scotland and Ireland, this was the only place that provided free Internet... more

A year ago I read the Trip Advisor ratings for Edinburgh B&B's and selected Stuarts based on enthusiastic reports. They turned out to be right on the money. Gloria was a marvelous, friendly and helpful hostess and cook who welcomes the opportunity, if invited, to sit with you for a spot of tea after breakfast and discuss anything British or... more
