Stayed at numerous Premier Inns and this one was probably the best. Good clean rooms with lovely linen and a large bed and lots of pillows!!! We had a partial Castle view which was an added bonus and the air conditioning was great as it was a very hot day. Breakfast was lovely and the staff where very attentive. Overall... More

Second time we have stayed at this hotel and will definately be back perfect location, staff excellant, rooms and breakfast fantastic. Can't recomend this hotel enough.a good idea when booking would be to request a room with a castle view as the view is stunning. There are local bus devices practically on the doorstep and the brand new trams are now running.... More

The hotel was very clean and felt safe and cosy. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, too! The location is great and there were coffee shops such as Costa and Starbucks nearby which were good for breakfast in the morning! You can also see the castle from the upper floors, which really makes you feel close to... More

We have been staying at Premier inn as we travel around the United kingdom and we have been very pleased with the accommodations. Clean, reasonably priced for the ideal location. 15 minute walk to castle, 10 minute walk to Carlton Hill, and plenty of restaurants right around the corner. You are able to pick up the tour buses 5 minutes... More

This hotel has the lot. Great location, phenominally friendly and helpful staff of the highest order. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfast, great little restaurant and bar serving good but inexpensive food and drink. Far better than most major hotels and certainly worthy of a couple of more stars. We will definitely return and I strongly recommend you try it... More

Wonderful hotel in great location. We had a large clean room with the most amazing view of the castle. The room was big enough for the four of us (2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 13) without feeling too cramped. Nice and helpful staff and a good breakfast. Very good value for money. We will definately be back.

The hotel in general was quite good. The only problems i see are the food variety in breakfast and not free wifi connection for guests(only 30 minutes). That wouldn' be a problem if the prize was cheaper.

Excellent choice. Airport tram goes by hotel, very convenient. Central location, everything within walking distance. Beautiful view of Edinburgh Castle from dining room. Great nights sleep, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, Costa Coffee & all herbal teas. Staff very friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again.
