Great place to stay for short stay in Edinburgh. It is in a great location near the centre. It is what you expect a Travelodge hotel to be. Descent place, clean rooms. friendly staff. They need to update their tv,s but the overall was ok!

Perfectly OK in most respects, however they need to get the carpets cleaned. There's 2 lifts to cover the 4 floors, 1 was out of order and the other was very small. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location of the Queen Street TV is by far its finest attribute, but in terms of a consistent Travelodge experience this branch holds its own and is a good example of the myriad Travelodges in Edinburgh. Helpful staff, clean and compact rooms, decent sound insulation and a handy dual entrance/ exit (ask for the garage regarding access) all prevalent... More

We booked this hotel in March for a stay in May directly through the Travelodge website. Booking was confirmed by email. We arrived by train around 11:30pm and walked over to the hotel only to be told by the friendly chap at the front desk that the hotel was fully booked. We said: Lucky we have a booking. No, he... We traveled as a family to the Edinburgh festival and checked into this Travelodge with ease. As we had prebooked months in advance the rooms were a really reasonable price but they did go up by more then double in the lead up to August I believe. The room was lovely, clean and we had a selection of coffees and... More

Thank you to the wonderfully friendly young lady who made me feel at ease upon checking into this hotel, had she not have been there I would have run a mile. In the long run, the location was brilliant, but I will never go back there. It is dirty, run down, elevators don't work, no air conditioning, no parking, breakfast... More

Located nicely in Edinburgh center, the hotel offers a seamless experience in a calm, quiet and clean hotel. Perfect for business purposes and short visits as no leisure facilities are available. Internet connection is accessed by purchasing a charge online. Breakfast was provided in a form of snack boxes. There is a vending machine at the entrance that sells basic... More

Stayed for 2 nights to attend the fringe, room was ready early, newly renovated I believe, very clean and very comfy large bed, fluffy pillows. Basic but good sized room with hanging space, Kettle, Tea & Coffee (except no hair drier) TV, bathroom with shower. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in and check out. Local Info leaflet stand,... More

Right in the heart of the new town makes this an ideal spot. Other than that it is a standard Travelodge, reasonably priced, but you can't check in until 3pm (unless you pay extra) which I always find a bit annoying. However, if you are after a (relatively) cheap centrally located Edinburgh hotel, where all you really want is a... More

Just returned from Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Our family room on the 4th floor towards the rear of the hotel was light, airy and in a quiet location. Room facilities were up to the usual Travelodge standards, reception staff were welcoming and allowed us to check in early, also stored our trolley cases for us at the end of our stay.... More
