We were very impressed with our apartment. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. Also, the staff was very friendly. Whenever we had a question, they were more than happy to help us out. The location was great, right near the Royal Mile. We were travelling with my family so this was an ideal place to rest... more

We liked everything the Holyrood Aparthotel had to offer. It is an extremely easy walk to the Royal Mile. The apartment does have squeaky floors and a noisy pump system, but that didn't seem to bother anyone staying there. The apartment also has a washer/dryer in it, which is a huge plus for visitors on a long stay, or visitors... more

I have to agree with the previous reviewer. I arrived at this hotel at about 6pm after a very long drive. It would have been nice to have been ushered to our room and given a short tour of the facilities but he receptionist was obviously doing her best to cope with an influx of guests. The lounge floor was... more

Things I liked about this place: close but not on the Royal Mile; breakfast stuff in kitchen; easy location to walk to castle, park, shops; windows can lock partially open. Things I didn't like about this place: squeeky floors - I'm glad nobody was above us, but sorry to the people staying below us; noisy bathroom fan/plumbing/pump that doesn't shut... more

We had an excellent experience. The two bedroom was ideal for our family of three. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, well-located, and very clean. During our stay, our son became ill and needed to see a doctor and the staff was so kind in helping us to get an appointment. I would definitely recommend the hotel. more

My teenage son and I stayed for two nights at the Holyrood Aparthotel. Our two-bedroom apartment was large, clean, modern and very well equipped. The kitchen was stocked with ample food for breakfast. The location is good, very close to the Royal Mile. However, the hotel is difficult to find, as it is in a courtyard down a narrow alley... more

We stayed with three persons in a 2 bedroom apartment. As we took a shuttle from the airport it took us about half an our to find the hotel because it is situated in a kind of alley but very close to the Royal Mile. The front desk officers did a very good job and they were very service minded.... more

After some research on the internet we decided to book a stay in this european designed aparthotel for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apt.with 2 queen beds and a sofabed. It was perfect for three persons who appreciate a comfortable clean bed after an active day. There's no airconditioning which was no problem at all for that period of the year(11... more

I don't quite understand the reviews that I'd read about this hotel. Whilst it was a clean room, it was extremely generic and I'd describe it as an up-scale Travelodge. Very basic however it did have a good kitchen with all the amenities we needed. The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable - all our party thought so. The sofa and the... more

Just returned from a 3 night stay in Holyrood aparthotel. Found the complex to be very clean, comfortable and in a good location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, things in the apartment were: Iron and board Hairdryer Dishwasher Fridge/ freezer Washing/ drying machine We thought it was great having the privacy and a "living area" in the apartment... more
