For the money it is just okay. Easy access to city center (on a main bus route) and not a bad walk if the weather is nice. Staff is friendly and breakfast area clean and well stocked with basic continental breakfast items. The room we had was dirty with badly stained carpets, and leftover trash in closet and drawers. Bathroom...

We decided at the last minute to stop off in Edinburgh, and booked online through 'Laterooms' for £38. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was large, but carpet extremely marked and well worn. Bed not the most comfortable, but bedlinen clean and fresh. Continental breakfast provided, but think they need new toasters that work. Taxi to the Royal Mile ranged...

This hotel is terrible. The service was indifferent, the maids did not complete any of their jobs, and the complimentary breakfast was non existent. The manager, when confronted by me about simple things such as new towels etc did not care.
Stayed overnight as we were in Edinburgh for a family get-together. Friendly welcome from Staff. Room was what can be expected for the price. Clean, good double and single bed. More than enough towels. Coffee / tea making facilities. Flat screen TV. Good heating. Ensuite bathroom and shower was fine. Continental breakfast was varied with selection of cereals, fruit, yogurts,...

However, on arrival, service was pleasant and efficient, the room and its ensuite were clean and presentable. Sheets and towels were clean and entirely sufficient. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had decent water pressure, and the...

Difficult to know where to start (too much to list) All I will say is its worth going somewhere else and pay an extra £10 - £15 per night and enjoy a proper hotel with up to date facilities without grubby bathrooms... Avoid....avoid....avoid...
