We stayed 3 nights at this B&B in August. Room was large and very neat. My wife was very happy that the room had a soaking tub. The breakfast was fresh cooked and consisted of either eggs (cooked your way), meat, fresh cut fruit, yogurt and breads. Very nice. The staff were very accommodating. This is a beautiful property on... More

We stayed here in May with extended family and children, we reserved two family rooms which were both nicely sized. The B+B hotel had very nice accommodations at good price. It also within a semi-reasonable walking distance of major attractions for most able bodied adults. If you have children consider getting a cab, which is not very costly in relationship... More

Stayed for 4 nights in August 2014. Room very clean and we'll appointed, no noise. Breakfast outstanding and service first class. Only concern would be if you don't like small spaces is the lift, only able to fit one person with two suitcases in it it. Very easy walk to city centre and major attraction.

As soon as we walked through the door of this lovely hotel we were very impressed. Situated in a very quiet area of Edinburgh yet just a short walk from the Castle and Princes Street this hotel combines period grandeur with contemporary chic. The first floor drawing room/library where coffee is available is an awesome period room that takes one... More

We stayed here as part of a package for the Royal Tattoo so were not sure what to expect. When we pulled up we were delighted as the hotel is in a Victorian terrace in the West End area of the city. We received a very warm welcome and were directed via the lift to our room on the third... More

This was a wonderful find during the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The owner was so kind and helpful and so willing to make our short stay in the area so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

We arrived really lat that day, and the staff was friendly. The room was nice and clean, but I didn't know that we had to bring our own toothbrushes... The shower was a bit small, but still okay. The best part is the food, nice Scotland breakfast, had a good time. The building and decoration were beautiful. I would think... More

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff in a quaint hotel very close to the Edinburgh Castle. Clean rooms and comfortable beds and the breakfast is fantastic! Very reasonably priced for the quality! Easy walking distance to Princes Street and the royal mile.

Six of us stayed at this B&B from 10th to 12th August 2014 as a family treat to see the sights of Edinburgh and the Tattoo. Wonderful spacious modern rooms, full wifi, very comfy large beds and all mod-cons. Nice bar and free coffee/tea/biscuits all day. What made it for us was the friendly helpfull service from the staff. They... More

This is a wonderful little hotel, about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Edinburgh, so quiet. The rooms have a boutique feel to them -we're staying in an accessible room which is a really good size with a wet room shower. The rooms are spotlessly clean & the linens smell fab! The staff are very friendly & happy to... More
