This was a wonderful find during the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The owner was so kind and helpful and so willing to make our short stay in the area so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

We arrived really lat that day, and the staff was friendly. The room was nice and clean, but I didn't know that we had to bring our own toothbrushes... The shower was a bit small, but still okay. The best part is the food, nice Scotland breakfast, had a good time. The building and decoration were beautiful. I would think... More

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff in a quaint hotel very close to the Edinburgh Castle. Clean rooms and comfortable beds and the breakfast is fantastic! Very reasonably priced for the quality! Easy walking distance to Princes Street and the royal mile.

Six of us stayed at this B&B from 10th to 12th August 2014 as a family treat to see the sights of Edinburgh and the Tattoo. Wonderful spacious modern rooms, full wifi, very comfy large beds and all mod-cons. Nice bar and free coffee/tea/biscuits all day. What made it for us was the friendly helpfull service from the staff. They... More

This is a wonderful little hotel, about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Edinburgh, so quiet. The rooms have a boutique feel to them -we're staying in an accessible room which is a really good size with a wet room shower. The rooms are spotlessly clean & the linens smell fab! The staff are very friendly & happy to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to the UK. We had booked the hotel through Expedia but were unable to book for 2 nights in the same room. We decided to book a regular room for the first night and their larger room for the 2nd as we really liked the reviews we had read. When we... More

The staff are excellent and could not do enough for us. We stayed in one of the larger rooms at the rear of the hotel with a great view to the north. it was quiet and the bed was large and spacious. The breakfast was one of the best i have ever had in the hundreds of hotels i have... More

Thank you Adrian. we are really pleased you have enjoyed Value For Money with B+B Edinburgh - it is incredibly important to get this right! Regarding parking - you can park in the area surrounding the property by meter. But the best way to get to Edinburgh is by train. It is super easy to walk to us along Princes... More

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and decided a stay here would be great and we were not dissapointed. The location was amazing. Just a short walk down the road and you are on the main shopping street and along the way are all the resturants. From the main street you can start seeing the attractions in the... More

Dear Guest We are truly grateful that you have taken the time to feedback and we are thrilled to mention that the 'waterworks' difficulties you experienced during your stay last year have since been remedied. The lift is still the same size (!) and is somewhat charming if a little slow. But overwhelmingly, we are delighted that we were able... More

We spent three nights here and would not hesitate to come back. Lots of reasons in no particular order. When dropping our bags off early the female receptionist invited us to the library to have coffee and shortbread -felt at home straight away. Our room had amazing views. The bath had lashings of hot water. The bed was sooo comfy.... More

Stayed for one night last week and was blown away by how good this was. We were a couple with a teenage daughter and we were given a room with a double bed, a fold down double bed and a separate room with bunk beds! The room was beautifully laid out, with a partition in the middle. The view from... More

Thank you so much for taking time to review - we are delighted to appeal to the whole family. We have attempted to 'break the mould' of the the traditional B+B experience by providing a lovely library area, business centre and bar and whilst we are not a 'hotel' , the ambience and pace is more like a hotel than...
