Dear ShitalBhatt, Thanks for taking your time to leave your review. We knew that this review would be left unless you were given a discount, which we refused to do, if someone has issues then we will resolve them but we will not be threatened or shouted in a totally unreasonable manner, which you did. It was good location. The entrance is at 219 royal mile, upstair. The office is inside a gift souvenir shop The apartment was better than expected and the kitchen was neat n well equipped with good cutlery n wares. However as one of the room face the front, every night is noisy with drunks shouting till 4am. It was the... More

It was a very centrally located, modern, clean, comfortable appartment. We loved it. It is 5 flights up, but the views of Edinburgh are outstanding. In walking distance from all major attractions. The rooms were comfortably spacious, the kitchen well equipped. It lacked nothing. Not a good place to entertain a crowd, but for 2 people, perfect. And added bonus,... More

Best place to stay directly on High Street. Big apartment, very clean, good beds, just about everything you need in the kitchen. We could not have been in a better place. Very close to great pub, the Jolly Judge. Suggestion for great breakfast is Hula on Victoria Street, if you don't want to make your own.

Small and simple apartment in a great area of Edinburgh! Lots of bars and fun touristy things to do. Although being born and raised in Glasgow I would have to say if your looking for great nightlife glasgow is the place to be! But as whole the trip was great and if your looking for something more historical and touristy... More

The apartment was more than adequate for our group of six people. Located just above the Grassmarket area of the city, it was easy to access all the venues on offer in the city. The staff at Stay Edinburgh were friendly and offered great support if required. Really helped to make stay an enjoyable experience.

The apartment was in a great location. It was big and clean. It even had a washer and dryer. The internet connection was the best that we had on our visit to France and then Scotland. We enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

I have been in Edinburgh three times. The last time was the best. The apartment is placed, not just well, but in the perfect place. Very few..seconds from the Royal Mile(extremely near), very close to the train station and to the new town. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I confirm, that it is exactly as it seems in... More

Staying in Old Town

Neighborhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavored souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
