My husband and I stayed here this past fall for three nights. First - Its probably the nicest Residence I have ever stayed in and I've stayed in a lot of them. The room was huge and well appointed. The breakfast was average for a residence inn. My only fault with this location was their laundry facility. It left our... More

Spent one night here in December on my way back to London after visiting the Scottish Highlands. Hotel is about .5 miles from the Royal Mile making it a very convenient to downtown. It's about a mile from the train station, which is still walkable in my opinion but the hilly environment can make it a bit challenging. The rooms... More

The hotel is near attractions and easy walking distances. There is a grocery store, and coffee nearby. The hotel had laundry machine, the rooms were clean. The only problem is there isn't air conditioning, and leaving windows open didn't help, plus noisy at night.

Great hotel. Rooms are clean and modern. Paul Whytock, manager, and his staff are very willing to assist you in any way they can. It is very close to many sites and restaurants. I'm a Platinum Marriott Rewards member and this is one of my favorite hotels.

Not the easiest to get to in the dark, but once we were there we found it an excellent place in an excellent location. The train station and bus stops are nearby including the Flightlink stop for a direct bus to the airport, the location is up and coming and has some restaurants and a supermarket and park just round the... I stayed here for a couple of days with my husband before traveling to St. Andrews. It was a beautiful property with great location, only a short walk from the center of Edinburgh. The rooms were quite large and had been recently remodeled and the hotel offered complimentary cookies every evening. We easily walked from the hotel to the center... More

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in a one bedroom suite in the Residence Inn. The rooms were large and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and we had a nice view. The suite was very clean and tidy for our arrival as well. Checking in and out took minutes and was welcoming. The only negatives would be... More

We arrived at the hotel at night, and when the taxi dropped us, our first reaction was that we made a mistake. The hotel is located in what looked like a new residential area far from what we envisioned Edinburgh to be. However, we WERE WRONG. The hotel is ideally located! Within a 2 minute walk we found a couple... More

Perfect location to get to Hogmanay Street Party! We were greeted by a trainee at the front desk (forgot her name-sorry). If her name tag hadn't said trainee, we would have never known. Very pleasant and welcoming! She handle the checking in process flawlessly. Our room was a a large studio w/ a couch. Loved the layout, spacious. Very nice... More

Very spacious studio apartment with a little kitchenette. Whilst I was staying there the main lift was out of action but did not prove too much of a problem as the hotel staff allowed me to use the service lift. Breakfast was reasonable and of a good standard.
