We were very happy with our choice of Hotel for our stay in Edinburgh. The Hotel itself is a small family run affair, situated about a 5-10 minute walk from Haymarket station. We stayed in the Green Room, a light airy and spacious room located on the top level ( beware - there are no elevators, though the young men... More

We used the hotel as our base for visiting the city and the Tattoo, we were made welcome by reception on arrival and by the waiter in the breakfast room. Unfortunately our stay was not the best in the world. At breakfast on the first morning our tea & coffee was forgotten first and then the toast was arriving as... More

Just back from two nights at this hotel in Edinburgh which we used as a base for a trip to the Commonwealth Games. Finding accommodation was really difficult so we consider ourselves lucky to have got a room here - the hotel was clean, the room was VERY spacious and comfortable (room no.2), and it was also quiet in spite... Very attentive chap on reception/breakfast service. Hotel decor tasteful and classic with a modern bar/dining room. Our room and en-suite was ok for us as we're wee but note it was bijou! Would kindly suggest fix mirror and get new towels. Nice brekkie.

Lovely interesting building, but stiflingly hot during a sunny July day! The room (6) also faced the setting sun, which made it like a greenhouse in the afternoon/early evening. The hotel did provide a fan on request, but it was only a desk fan & didn't really cool down the large room. On the plus side, good breakfast, freshly made... More

We had a bargain staying at this hotel and were not disappointed. The manager was friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. The rooms had a boutique feel about them - every room was different and we were fortunate to have a choice of which room we wanted. The bathroom was small but big enough for a... More

Just arrived home from a 3 night stay in this cosy home from home. Our room was large and fresh, and clean, the sleigh beds were amazing! This family couldn't do enough for us, greeting us on arrival with coffee, phoning the zoo to arrange our much wanted visit to the pandas, and providing us with iced water after much... More
