Travelled from Glasgow, stayed here for one night for a birthday getaway. Very small hotel, great location; less than a 5 minute walk to train/tram and bus links but far enough from main road to be peaceful. We took the bus to the zoo and later on a train into town and taxi back. It's so convenient without the price... More

Having booked a different hotel through booking.com I arrived in Edinburgh to discover the booking hadn't gone through and I was without anywhere to stay for the weekend. Lots of phoning around led me to No 32 Hotel in the Haymarket area of the city The communal areas of the hotel were pleasant, well decorated and clean. The room, whilst... More

We both stayed recently for two nights in a large twin ( downstairs ). Highly recommendable. Staff very helpful, holding cases for evening flight, recommending dining , etc. etc. but above all, super location for airport, castle, murrayfield, zoo and all other. Two 20 degree days at end of Sept. was a bonus too. Great little hotel in a beautiful... More

Very nice hotel. Walking distance to town or a tram to town was all local. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was on the top floor so lots of stairs but the room was comfortable, a tad small maybe but quiet and rear facing. Breakfast was excellent.

Stayed here for 5 days at the start of the month and really enjoyed it. Room (No 1) was large enough and warm despite the few grey days we had. It's a fab location - 15 minutes to Princes Street and 5 to Haymarket station and tram stop with buses heading towards Murrayfield Stadium and the zoo every 5 or... More

Very conveniently situated close to Haymarket station and tram stops and about 20 minutes walk to Princes Street. Stylishly decorated and immaculately clean throughout, with modern, comfortable furnishings. Staff were welcoming and helpful - possibly a little over-attentive. Breakfast was excellent. The only problem was the very small room (no 5) which was advertised as a double but was really... More

We were able to land a night here when our flight was cancelled, and they were so kind and accommodating. It was a relief to be in a beautiful place, with good food, and in a great location. Whew were we lucky!
