I had a great time at this hostel. My bed was in a 4-bed room and was really affordable given that I booked it online the same day I arrived. It was really easy to find as there was a leaflet for the hostel at the bus station. I didn't realise how close it was to Princes Street so finding... More

Had a group of 20 people - Perfect location next to a superb pub, nice and cheap, all you need, very helpful and friendly staff. NIce to have free tea coffee and breakfast. Showers could have more power is my only gripe!

I m now travelling in Europe now for 5 weeks. I m not saying this is the best one in the world but the location is definitely the best in the world and clean and cozy as well!!! It s just between the bus station and train station.(Within 2 mins) All staff are genuinely kind. I m very happy to... More

Stayed here for the first time over the New Year and it was the best hostel I have stayed in when coming over to Scotland. The location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh as its in the centre of town. Train and bus stations 2 minutes away makes travelling around so easy. The hostel offers so many nice touches to make... I was in Edinburgh for a couple of days work and needed somewhere central to stay but didn't want to pay hotel prices. Had a look at some reviews and researched a bit about Haggis Hostels and where it was situated. Staff were very welcoming and friendly with in depth knowledge of things to do in Edinburgh. Rooms were clean... More

I travelled to Edinburgh for 4 days and it was a great choice for me. It is really well located, and it has a really warm atmosphere. There is a great kitchen with oven, so you can buy your food and heated or cook or there. Bathrooms were clean, though it was a little bit chilli... They have an area... More

I'm attend university in Edinburgh and stay in Haggis Hostel one night a week during term time, when I attend lectures. The hostel itself is quite small and accommodates approximately 20-30 guests- a much smaller capacity than most hostels I've stayed in previously. I find this to be a particularly positive quality as it creates a much more friendly and... More

Stayed at Haggis for 3 nights while visiting Edinburgh. Stayed at two other hostels but this was by far the best. The beds were really comfy, the place was spotlessly clean. The showers were nice and powerful and the kitchen and gallery areas were great to chill out in. The staff were great and nothing was ever a problem. The... More

One of the nicest hostels I have had the pleasure spending time in. Laid back, friendly atmosphere. The kitchen is clean, the rooms perfect for a good nights sleep. It offers clean luxury towels and extras you would expect from a 5* hotel at a fraction of the price. Location is ideal for all the Eastend sights and located close... More

Good location, very close to Waverley Station. Standard dormitory accommodation. Excellent kitchen facilities with utensils, cutlery, fridge space and cooker with hobs. Buffet breakfast with cereals and bread/pastries was OK. Nice little sitting room with information about local attractions. Staff were very helpful and recommended places to visit in Edinburgh.
