We booked cheap room as we were travelling to visit the zoo, it wasn't too far from the town centre (in a car) petrol station next door if we needed anything, rooms basic but comfortable and clean, would stay again if visiting Scotland. :) More

Nicely greeted at reception. Room clean. Quiet weekend so not ditsurbed. Cold and the wall heater only managed a little heat even when full on. Bath plug removed-not for the first time in a lodge- and cannot work out whether Travelodge have a thing about stopping people having a bath. Pleny of towels but some were pretty wet after the... We spent 2 nights in this travelodge as a base to take my daughter and niece to visit the pandas at Edinburgh zoo. We paid £19 a night and were expecting to get what we paid for. The room was in need of a lick of paint but it was clean and comfortable. We have stayed in a few travelodges... More

Second time we stayed here. We were visiting family who live local. We literally only went back to sleep. The facilities are sparse but the room was clean and when we asked for more pillows and milk the staff were very helpful. We were not expecting four star. Bed was comfortable room was warm and the room rate was very... More

Came from newcastle for a 2 day trip to take my son to the zoo. Arrived at 2.50 asked if we could check in (i am 8 months pregnant and my 2 year old was desperate for toilet) but was told we couldnt check in until 3pm and would have to come back - not the best start! Only good... More

Me and my partner stayed here for a night on the way further south and was disgusted at the hotel, we have used travelodges before so tend to know what to expect but this was below standard- receptionist was pleasent but the place was filthy!- the walls throughout the building were marked, the carpet had not been hoovered, the bathroom... We arrived on the Friday night and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful gentleman. He helped us with directions to somewhere nice to eat and couldn't have been more helpful. Only minimal bedding, as Travelodge seems to like and not enough towels, plus the room was a bit cool, so we just turned the heating up and when... More

Myself and two others stayed here last June whilst taking part in the Edinburgh Moonwalk and we paid £25 a night for the 3 of us. We had read mixed reviews and decided to go with it as we only needed a place to dump our bags and then sleep for one night. We arrived on a miserable wet day... More

Ok for a budget stay somewhere and for the price what do you expect. Clean and comfortable and fine for a few nights stay. Think you need a car if your staying here as i'm not sure how else you'd go about getting to and from it. I'm going back in a few weeks so not bad that i'd choose... More
