Great location just over Waverley Station. Spacious room but ask for an outward-facing room if a view is important to you, otherwise you'll get a view of the interior (not terribly attractive but still very quiet). Stayed here for 1 night and it was extremely comfortable. Stayed on the 6th floor in a superior king size room. The bed was SO comfortable with lovely crisp linen. I am a terrible sleeper and can't stand cheap linen, fibre filled duvets and pillows so no problem there! I had a facial in the spa which was so relaxing.... more

We had a very good experience at the Balmoral for a brief Saturday night stay. We had a standard room that was inward facing, but he quality of the room and bathroom was excellent.
