We recently stayed here as we were at a party at a pub down the road. The hotel is easy reached from the City Centre, it took us about 15mins to walk it. The rooms were very nice, very well appointed, although the hot water was scorching hot and there were only 2 sachets of coffee which I find annoying... More

My husband and I just wouldn't dream of staying a anywhere else! The staff are lovely and so helpful and friendly. We have stayed in several rooms over the years in this hotel and we've yet to have a bad experience. If your having a special trip, I would definitely recommend the four poster room!! Nice hotel not far from the centre of Edinburgh. We walked from there through a park right down to the centre and the castle. It is quiet at least on the side our bedroom was located. Nice rooms and inviting lobby. The restaurant is recommendable as well. Good bar with excellent choice of whiskies and wine.

Regular destination for a quiet drink and chat with my better half. Dougie in the bar is a stand-out a real pro who seems to know everything about every kind of drink! The other staff are good too. The bar food is fine and is reasonably priced. Good place to eat if you're too busy / lazy to cook, not... More

I ran a course at the Bruntfield and attended a networking event, and stayed overnight in between. The accommodation is good, a bit like a rabbit warren though, lots of corridors! Pleasant room with good facilities, the wifi was pretty decent and TV had lots of channels. The staff were very helpful and able to find me somewhere to get... More

The Bruntsfield is my favorite hotel in Edinburgh. I've stayed there several times and particularly enjoyed having one of their nicest rooms at teh back of the hotel during the Edinburgh festival. It was an easy walk down the hill to various festival locations including the Usher hall. The breakfasts are substantial, the staff really go out of their way... More

This 4 star hotel looked good when booked for a one night stay. A superior room was good with huge bathroom and separate drssing area. Furnishings were good with a comfortable bed. Problems arose during the night when the night porter entered the next room hourly to check on a radiator leak. this kept us awake. Breakfast was disappointing with... More

The Bruntsfield is in the nicest area, with lots of independent shops, wineries, eateries - all offering a very high end service and product in whatever they do. Morningside is the loveliest place, quiet genteel without being snobby in my view and The Bruntsfield is the epitome of old world charm and elegance, without losing the service and requirement for...
