We stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. The hotel is nice and quiet with lovely rooms. We stayed in a king room (219) which was spacious enough for us. The free mini bar was equipped with soft drinks, a biscuit and milk. We did however have to contact reception to bring a fresh bottle of milk as the one... More

Two nights after spending a night in room 408 and I still have a bad back (I don't even suffer with my back). When I got on the bed it seemed soft, but it was like sleeping in a ditch! I could have complained at the time, but what do you do when you realise it's not you at 01:00,... More

Had a long weekend stay here with friends and really enjoyed it. It's in a great position in the New Town, 5 minutes from Waverley Station, literally opposite the tram line from the Airport and tucked in behind the Catholic Cathedral, John Lewis and Harvey Nics. We arrived before 12, just expecting to leave our bags in the luggage room... More

we stayed at the Indigo hotel last week for one night as we were going to see Jersey Boys at The Playhouse Theatre which is just around the corner. Our first impression was of an extremely smart hotel situated in a very vibrant part of the capital city. Check in was very efficient and although our room was not ready... More

Stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and it was great. We had an early flight, so emailed the hotel in advance to ask if we could check in early. Not only were we able to check in early, they also gave us a free upgrade! The hotel room was lovely and the little complimentary fridge full of goodies was... More

Recently stayed here for 1 night while visiting the Playhouse. The hotel is in an excellent position for the Playhouse as well as Princes Street and has a tram stop just outside. The room was stunningly designed, not massively big but large enough - it certainly had the wow factor. There was a large selections of teas, coffee and the... More

We were booked here for the first three nights of our tour of 12 days. The staff was very helpful getting us all settled after a long flight. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We were close to the city as the tram was just a few short steps from the hotel. Highly recommend.

Maybe the title is a bit misleading? The Hotel has lots of positives in its favour, beautiful decor, great location, gorgeous rooms, but with the positive come the negatives. When we arrived there was a problem with our bed (room 408). We mentioned to the reception who said they would have the problem fixed, great! When we returned the problem... More

Recently stayed for 1 night at the Indigo, Edinburgh while visiting the city for business. Standard welcome and check in. The elevator to 3rd floor takes ages. Very tiny room (approx. 16m2) with a view to the back of the hotel, but with very friendly colored decor. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The sink was... More

We had a lovely room and the decor was really stylish - I loved the wooden floor, funky colour scheme and Edinburgh street map wallpaper. The bed was really comfortable but the pillows were a bit cheap and hard (I do like a feather pillow though and I am fussy so take your own if you're like me!). Great shower... More
