Had a great stay midweek in September whilst in Edinburgh on business. Efficient, clean and welcoming. Room was spacious and liked the mini bar included. It is very well located around the corner from John Lewis and contrary to some reviews everything in the city centre is very walkable!

this was a very clean, cute, boutique-y hotel in the new side of edinburgh. the good: great, spacious room with modern finishes and bathroom. early checkin was accommodated. 12 noon check out. nice staff. the not so good: free wifi is limited to a certain amount of data. after that you have to pay. it didn't last long! weird layout... Excellent stay, rooms lovely (double and king), breakfast good. Only marked down for trying to fob us off with a small double room when king room bought and paid for and for the rank pint from the bar.

This was, by far, our favorite hotel of our trip. Our room was large and spacious with the most wonderful bathroom. The complimentary mini-bar was a huge plus - as the snacks and water were welcome after a long day out on the town. The location was great and within walking distance of great restaurants and bus stops. The tram... More

Since we had booked 6 months prior to trip and were staying for four nights, we were disappointed with the size of our room and the sloping ceilings. Luckily, I am short. The other two people in our party had a beautiful room, spacious with a lovely view with wide windows. Ours had one small window but at least we... More

We arrived exhausted after an overnight flight from the US at about 11am to be told that our room was not ready, check back at 3. Staff was friendly and this was standard, so OK. We trudged around Edinburgh and came back MORE exhausted at 3. Room not ready. We fell asleep in the lobby. 3:40 room ready...finally. The room... More

The hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard, very modern and clean. Our room was small but that was OK although it looked out on to the ventilation pipes but we weren't in it very much. The shower room was great. Now the first but.... Our bed sank in the middle! This was so obvious even before... More

Stayed at the hotel Indigo for one night in September. Firstly it is extremely convenient to reach from the Edinburgh airport. The tram 8 sterling return, stops outside the hotel in the city centre. The hotel is located within easy reach of all Edinburgh's highlights. Very well laid out rooms and great period modern decor. Breakfast is either continental of... More

This is a trendy hotel with rather high rates. While the cleanliness and decoration of the hotel would justify the price, service and the overall experience is below the expected and therefore not the best value. My room was nicely arranged and decorated, but was very small by any standards. It was on the 4th floor - I believe a... More

The hotel is located near the Saint James shopping center, and close to Princess street (for shopping). The room I stayed in was not very big but very nice, modern, and with some very nice touches : a European power plug (!), a minibar with free softdrinks and sweets (refilled daily). Breakfast was ok - the continental option a little... More
