My family and I stayed here in August. The room was large, and we were very comfortable with myself, my wife and our kids. We hadn't mentioned that we had a baby with us, but they were very understanding and gracious about it. The food was absolutely great. The breakfast they give you with the room is massive and delicious,... More

We have been here before for dinner & greatly enjoyed it. Now we are back again with a voucher deal for 3 courses. Nice to see an improved dining room with cocktail menu. This really added to our previous experience. Lovely attentive service with fantastic food. Mouth watering & of very high quality. Wish we could say the same for... More

Stayed here for two nights. Due to a recent injury I couldn't do stairs very well. Ella gave us a basement room. I still had stairs but only one flight. Room was quite small (number 1) but we did only book a standard room so felt we had nothing to complain about. Really nice bathroom with shower and bath. Shower... More

We recently stayed at No11 and am afraid to say the service left much to be desired. Having driven up from London for a once in a lifetime weekend at the Ryder Cup, No 11 was supposed to be the icing on the cake; however it was anything but. I have to say the room was fantastic and everything we... More

We were staying at the top floor in room 8, but the stairs was not a problem. Very modern bathroom, excellent kingsize bed and excellent free wifi. Found the hotel the day before arriving, and at a vers good price.

My boyfriend and I went for a weekend getaway and were not disappointed by this hotel. It was quiet, with wonderful rooms and quite possible the best bathrooms we've had at a hotel (I know it's a silly thing to like, but still). The breakfast was wonderful and the location was excellent. The only thing we were sad about was... More

I recently stayed at this beautiful quirky little hotel in Edinburgh. I just love its funky (in the best way) atmosphere.I had a perfect, spotlessly clean single room. Georgeous crown moulding, beautiful plaster medallion....high, high ceiling and a chandalier! Huge floor to ceiing window...all at avery reasonable price. The staff was friendly and very helpful....There's a very well reviewed restaurant,... More

We stayed for three nights at No. 11 with 6-year old daughter, in the Gregorian suite on the first floor (that's one flight of stairs up, my fellow americans). What a lovely place to be! I love the classically decorated room with poster bed, wardrobe and vanity desk, and the entirely modern bathroom with heated floor and ingenious lighting. Bed... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel, which is only a 10-15 minute walk from the Edinburgh Waverley train station and Waterloo Street, where dozens of tour buses originate. Staff was very friendly and quickly/happily accommodated our few requests (early check-in, taxi service, etc.). We stayed in one of the 4-person rooms and loved it. Beautiful decor, large room...
