Our friends had purchased us a gift voucher for one night at the hotel as a wedding gift, we extended this for a further night when we finally got around to using the voucher for our anniversary. The decor was to our taste and was both striking, interesting and comfortable, the room spacious, meticulously clean, and luxurious. We had dinner... More

Lovely afternoon tea. Sat in garden in sunshine. Lovely glass of bubbly as well. Great selection of sandwiches and cakes, not to mention scones, jam and cream! Service was first class. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed another very good dinner at No11 . The food was of a very high standard and the staff friendly. The surroundings are restful and the wall displays enhance the atmosphere. We had a voucher which was excellent value for money. The menu has recently been enhanced and we tried the new items in the menu which were very... More

Had a lovely 3 course meal on a voucher deal last week.Staff very welcoming and pleasant. My friend didn't want a starter and the waitress was concerned it was because there was nothing suitable on the menu and offered to get her something else. She only wanted two courses so they brought us gorgeous bread with a dip instead and didn't even... We booked this hotel in February as we intended to visit Edinburgh to see the Burt Bacharach concert at the Playhouse on 30th July, our stay was mid week from the Wednesday to the Friday. On searching for hotels near the Playhouse this one came up and appeared from the reports and photographs on Trip Advisor and on the hotels... More

We stayed at No. 11 for a couple of days at the start of July and had such a great experience. It was a treat for ourselves so financially I felt justified staying in the Georgian suite, which I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury stay. The room itself was huge, with all the necessary amenities hidden... More

I was really excited about trying out a new restaurant and was looking forward to a really high calibre of food at this hotel. However, the entire experience was, overall, highly underwhelming. The staff were friendly enough but failed to make the experience any more enjoyable. The restaurant itself, is very small. It feels like sitting in someone's lounge for... More

I booked 3 nights in one of the suites for my husbands 40 last month. Wanting to make sure he had a perfect break I was constantly emailing the hotel for one thing or another and they couldn't be more helpful, every little detail was covered, from candles, rose petals, fresh flowers, chocolate dipped strawberries and wine cooling when we... My wife and I stayed here on the 9th and 10th April 2014, and were initially disappointed to find that the 'mini suite' advertised was not a suite but simply a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. This was on the second floor and a bit of a flog up the stairs. (There is no lift.) We were a bit mystified... More

Me and husband dined here with a voucher from Amazon local - £32 for 3 course dinner, tea or coffee and truffles for the two of us. The food was fantastic - best meal out we have had in a long time. There was no restrictions on menu with the voucher which you often find is the case with these... More
