We stayed here with our two kids for our first festival experience. Kenny and Kay made us most welcome, shame they couldn't do anything about the weather! We loved our family room, breakfasts were great, though a shame they didn't serve any haggis. Great location for festival goers with good venues within walking distance. more

We spent 4 weeks this summer in the UK, most of it in Scotland. We chose to stay in B & Bs most of the time so we certainly had a variety of styles, prices and amenities. We stayed in Ardenlee near the beginning of our trip and were very disappointed in it. We had booked it due to the... more

We stayed here for 4 nights last week and had a wonderful time. The guesthouse is charming and in a great location - try the bistro across the road in the evenings! Our room was lovely and had all the usual in it. The breakfasts were great - I do like a full cooked to start the day! Kay and... more

My mum (who's retired) booked in here for a break to see family in Edinburgh. She was given a single room rate of £45 per night B&B which is not bad for central Edinburgh but as it turned out she would rather have paid more for better accommodation. The Ardenlee is in fact only one half of the guest house,... more

Accommodation is a Bed and Breakfast so don't have the Hotel Amenities Kay and Kenny are great hosts, very friendly and helpful with advise on what to see and how to get there. They have the best breakfast and the rooms are lovely and clean and well decorated. There are some lovely restaurants and pubs close by and a laundrymat.... more

My girlfriend and I stayed for three nights at the Ardenlee and we had a very nice experience there. Kay and Kenny were extremely helpful and friendly, and everything went very smoothly. Breakfast each morning is excellent- a full, hot breakfast, with a variety of other menu options, as well, in a very pretty dining area. A variety of rooms-... more

We spent almost a week at the Ardenlee, and we had a very nice stay thanks to Kay and Kenny. They made their best to make us feel confortable, even with special attentions at the occasion of Hogmanay (huge breakfast...). The rooms are big, calm and clean, after a moment, we felt at home when coming back in the evening... more

My boyfriend and i stayed at the Ardenlee last weekend (18 - 21st) for 3 nights. Our room was adequate and very comfortable. The room was at the front of the house but this wasnt a problem as it was quite quiet with the usual light traffic noise. Food was great and they were very accomodating as i have a... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Ardenlee in August 2007, during the festival. Our room was nice and clean but extremely small. In fact I think it's generally used as a single room because, a part from the double bed, two people can't really fit in there! A part from the size of the room, the guest house is well... more
