We stayed 3 nights and the room were really nice, clean, lots of space, quite, 5 mins by car from the city center, the breakfast was just perfect, lots of choice, and employees were very friendly and helpful. I will go again, and recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to visit Edinburgh. more

Stayed here for one night, as unfortunately we had a funeral to attend and it was 2 miles from Morton Hall crematorium. The room was spotless, warm, huge kingsize bed and en suite. The room over looked the garden and was very quiet. The breakfast was hot and cold buffet, there was even haggis!! You had to tick a sheet... more

This would not suit travellers who want to stay in the centre, but it is only a short bus ride (loads of buses) or 30 min walk. Our room was spacious (lovely tall ceilings) and very comfortable. It was modern and not chintzy. The shower room was small but perfectly adequate. The breakfast was very varied and plentiful. This would... more

After ariving in Edinburgh after a very long journy from conwall, we were two hours early for our checking but the staff where more than happy to let us wait in the front room whilst they prepared our room. The bedroom and bathroom we had were an excelent size and clean. Breakfast was self service from a hot counter and... more

We stayed at this B & B about 5 years ago and on our recent return to Edinburgh chose it again over more central and conventional hotels, we were not disappointed. It is a really enjoyable experience. We have stayed in both rooms at the front on the first floor and both are excellently appointed - I have stayed in... more

My husband and I had a lovely 2 night stay at Barony House in the romantic 4 poster bedroom - a good-sized room which was beautifully furnished (also on the ground floor so no lugging our suitcases upstairs). The B&B is located in a great spot - plenty of buses just a few mins walk away and we never waited... more

What a perfect venue for a Scottish holiday. Elegant, comfortable Victorian B&B situated in a lovely residential section, yet on the main bus route...only 10 minutes in and out of Edinburgh. Accommodations were quite nice and breakfasts were over the top. But the best part were the innkeepers, Susie B and her husband, who will go to great lengths to... more

Barony House is a lovely guesthouse with very amiable owners. It is situated about a mile or so from the city centre, walkable in 20-30 minutes, but there's a bus stop conveniently located outside the guesthouse and very well served - we used the buses to get around all weekend, they were reliable, very regular and it costs just £2.50... more

My husband and I stayed in Barony House B&B last week. It was our first trip to Scotland and we were only staying in Edinburgh for the one night and had no idea where we wanted to stay so just searched through the Accommodation Guide handed to us by Tourist Information. Barony House is situated on a busy main road... more
