I stayed here a few months back for a class trip! Staff were nice and friendly going. The place itself is huge and in an ideal location situated within the new town. The hostel has a great theme going with plenty of artwork over the walls. Good nightlife is not too far astray from this place either. Everything in the... More

This hostel has some awesome artwork literally all over the walls. It's also huge which resulted in a lot of exploring. The beds were comfy and cozy and having separate bathrooms was really nice. I stayed in room L up at the top, oh god all those stairs!! Had a lovely time, I'd love to stay here again. Cheers!

I stayed there a few times some staff were good but most are arrogant self centred only really interested in squeezing every penny out of you and cashing in on the location which is great the place ie showers had doors hanging off not working or no curtains ie privitcy the actual duvets them self I was told by a... This is a functioning hostel but maybe too much so, no matter how much cleaning they did they were at max capacity and no matter how many outlets were available I found them to be blown out. The wifi only worked downstairs. This was a beautiful place with a lively environment with art on the walls and a bar inside... More

I've been fully satisfied by this hostel: this is the cheapest hostel I've found in Edinburgh and the breakfast is included! The dorms are clean and not noisy at all. The wifi is available everywhere and you can use computers for free. You can even print your flight ticket (Ryanair !!) directly from a computer! You can borrow a laptop,... More

I stayed here for 4 nights during the fringe festival. Was really easy to get to from the airport and I liked the location just off Princes Street. The hostel itself was vibrant and clean, a little less modern than others but was a great place to stay. They don't provide towels, but you can hire towels for 5p as... More

Very friendly, clean and handy. Would definitely recommend. Haven't stayed in many hostels but this place has changed my mind. Really cool decor, handy little breakfast provided and clean. All you could want, including check out storage and free internet.

I stayed here during the fringe and it was still reasonably priced. The staff were mostly friendly (one or two were not). The place however was immaculate. It was incredible clean. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was clean and we'll equipped. The breakfast was amazing for any Aussie travel they stock vegetated and weet bix! ! The thing... More

Went to Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival! I stayed in the 12 bedroom mixed dorm with some friends and I would definitely recommend staying here. It was clean, the people were friendly, the bar area was awesome! There is a pool table, a chilled relaxing room and heaps of power points for laptops and phones. Board games, book and more.... More
