Very friendly, clean and handy. Would definitely recommend. Haven't stayed in many hostels but this place has changed my mind. Really cool decor, handy little breakfast provided and clean. All you could want, including check out storage and free internet.

I stayed here during the fringe and it was still reasonably priced. The staff were mostly friendly (one or two were not). The place however was immaculate. It was incredible clean. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was clean and we'll equipped. The breakfast was amazing for any Aussie travel they stock vegetated and weet bix! ! The thing... More

Went to Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival! I stayed in the 12 bedroom mixed dorm with some friends and I would definitely recommend staying here. It was clean, the people were friendly, the bar area was awesome! There is a pool table, a chilled relaxing room and heaps of power points for laptops and phones. Board games, book and more.... More

I stayed here 6 nights to watch a few events at the Commonwealth Games. My partner and I had a twin room. The hostel is pretty lively so not the ideal place if you're seeking a quiet getaway. If you're up for meeting people, the bar is perfect though. The decor is a bit dated but it's bright and clean.... More

A friend and I stayed here in a 8 bed dorm for four nights over the Edinburgh fringe festival. This place is awesome! Such a good vibe. We received free breakfast every morning till midday, this is the first place I've stayed that has breakfast until lunch time. The drinks at the bar are cheap, reception is open 24/7 and... More

Although my room may not look like the picture shown on the advertisement, I definitely enjoyed my stay here. For 10 pound a night this place had breakfast, free locker storage, great friendly and efficient staff and a comfortable bed! What more can you ask for? An awesome kitchen with kitchen equipment, yep they had, a large eating area and... More

Really nice and cozY place. Staff are helpful. However internet was disrupted occasionally and bathrooms are not the best I have seen. But it is easy to make new friends there and I had a really really good time there

The bedding ie pillows and duvets are never washed only the covers yip changed but that's not a clean bed far from it they charge you what he want from 10 to 25 a night but it's a disgrace the showers toilets... Hi Unfortunately this gentlemen was asked to leave the hostel due to inappropriate behaviour towards another guest. We pride ourselves on making a safe environment for all our guests so we could not tolerate this sort of behaviour. Our team do a great job at keeping the backpackers clean, with the linen washed after each guest. This includes pillow cases,... More

The hostel is nice, cool and with a friendly environment. Lots of showers and bathrooms, and a really nice living room with sofas, pool tables, etc. Nice atmosphere. The only (really) bad thing is the noise in the rooms at night. People SNORED a lot, and the windows were open (because it was hot) so we could hear all the... More

Great central location to explore the city. Helpful and friendly staff. Amazing assistant manager. Really excellent atmosphere at the bar with other people staying at the hostel. Clean rooms showers and toilets. That is the place where to stay in Edinburgh.
