Marriott have a set standard so beds were lovely, decor nice etc, but first room we were allocated was very damp and we could not make shower work, we went to reception who changed our room instantly with no quibble at all, next room better but still bit smelly!!! I have to say the star of the show here was... more

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in July while on vacation. The room was clean, well furnished, & had excellent amenties. When we booked our hotel, we had no idea it included a buffet breakfast. We had assumed that breakfast would be extra so that may be something you would want to check on if you stay. I... more

Typical very comfortable American style business hotel. Upon arrival on a rainy Thursday night at 2100hrs I unloaded my baggage onto the front entry stairs. I was in full view of the three staff members at reception. I milled about for a few minutes waiting for a bellman to help me with my 6 bags. No one came so I... more

We stayed here while on an Insight Tour - and were not disappointed. We have never stayed in a Marriott that was not wonderful. The room was quiet, clean, and expansive, and the amenities were many. A tea service in the dresser area was fully stocked with milk, sugar and tea and coffee, along with several packets of great cookies.... more

As a seasoned business traveller I can say - This place is the best! The thick carpets in the corridors keep foot / kuggage noise out windows were quad glazed! The staff were friendly and helpful Very handy for Edinburgh's excellent bus service The bar was great to sit and watch rabbits outside on the lawn If only all hotels... more

We stayed in an lovely room at the Marriot. No king size were available but the room had two very comfortable double beds. Cannot complain at all about the rooms or the staff. I did pay extra to access to the Lounge, which I cant recall the name of!! probably not worth it. Wasn't very relaxing as had formal tables.... more

We stayed in an executive room, and of course, it was very nice, but much smaller than we expected- comfy beds and good amenities...the only downside is that you have to pay 15 pounds a night (30 dollars) for internet access on top of the 157 euros we paid for the room, so OUCH! It was very expensive!!! The bathroom... more

Staed 2 days - would go back. A little out of town, but 4 different buses stop at corneer and easy 20 minute ride into... more

My husband and i stayed here for one night prior to flying out of Edinburgh Airport. We were a little disappointed that the courtesy shuttle bus no longer runs between the hotel and the airport. We were approximately £7 one way in a taxi. The room was very nice and clean, bed very comfortable with a nice selection of pillows... more
