When we arrived the receptionist was very helpful and friendly she booked the restaurant for our... More

Nothing fancy but good breakfast, nice staff, nice location. Would recommend for no frills. We were here for a wedding and had some issues with booking but it was remedied pretty quickly. Good wifi. Awesome at coordinating cabs for a groups of 15.

I stayed here recently whilst on business, the welcome was pleasant, check in swift & having requested a iron & ironing board service very quick as they beat me to my room! The hotel is well situated in Edinburgh with all the major attractions close by. The rooms were very clean, well appointed & benefited from being slightly quirky due... More

I recently stayed here for a weekend. Couldn't fault the hotel cleanliness. Staff - were friendly enough. The receptionist the night we arrived was ever so helpful. The next night the other lady wasn't quite so friendly though. Food - Breakfast wasn't brilliant - food wasn't very warm, croissants burnt and service quote slow. Didn't get a chance to try... More

My husband and I booked the Edinburgh City Hotel for Bed and breakfast for 6days and was delighted with everything in the Hotel. We have tried bus tours with various travel agents (which were ALL a disaster due to very poor hotels). For us this is a big part of ones holiday. I did a lot of research on the... More
