Welcoming and attentive hosts. Comfortable large rooms with luxurious bathrooms. Breakfast was a la carte and delicious. Would certainly stay here again. Plenty of free car parking available and then well placed to hit the road south.

Stylish B&B with friendly and helpful hosts, and a lovely breakfast. Very comfortable bed in king size room. Good for families: teenage daughters in adjacent twin room. Convenient location and good value. We would certainly stay again.

We stayed at Number 27 for one night, visiting family in Morningside, and I couldn't fault it at all. The bus stop was just near the guest house which was really handy. Ron and Julie were really welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely and breakfast fantastic! I will be recommending to other members of our family.

A return visit for us for our rugby pilgrimage! So glad that Ron & Julie were able to accommodate us again as can't imagine staying anywhere else. The rooms are stunning & Ron's breakfast brilliant with beautiful fresh produce. Don't let the fact that this B&B is a little out of central Edinburgh put you off as the walk from... More

Fantastic B & B in a truly stunning building. Location is perfect, quiet enough but only a 10/15 minute bus ride from Princes Street and easilly walkable. Rooms are large, spacious and very well furnished. Breakfast plentiful and great choice, Ron more than happy to cook up anything you may request. Would certainly return on our next visit to Edinburgh.

We stayed at 27 for 3 nights and didn't want to leave! Big comfortable room, welcoming and friendly owners and a great breakfast. It's in a really nice area with lots of interesting independent shops, cafes etc. We got the impression that nothing was too much trouble for the owners and we really felt at home. Made our trip to... More

I have been to Edinburgh several times and had not yet found a place I wanted to stay in a second time. This has changed now after my stay at Number 27, and I will return there next time I visit, definitely! The rooms were large and beautifully decorated, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly. Most... More

Sandy and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Ron was most welcoming and immediately made us a cup of tea. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were scrumptious. I was in Edinburgh to celebrate my 70th Birthday so 27 Morningside was the icing on the cake!
